Yea, you are right. That is why I put the caveat in there.
The other trick is they do not have to be the same person. e.g. Bill is the thief and the kalani is the rat and calls the mallers and Mr whiskers was just cleaning the gun when it accidently went off multiple times shortly after Lady bite the alarm wire.
If it was the same person and the person is still alive, the possibilities have been narrowed.
