In the beginning of the series, Riley is the first to offer emotional support to the other characters in order to help them along with grieving. She, ironically, subcombs the most to grief and loss, descending into a deep disrepair. It is revealed in the finale that she leads a support group dealing with grief, at the The Colony, thus coming full circle.

"Le Fèvre" is a common family name originating from Northern France and is the French equivalent to "Smith."
Rileys last name is le Fèvre, she is also an archer and makes a few references to Robin Hood. While potentially coincidental, one of the suspected men accused of being the real life Robin Hood also had the last name Fèvre.
