So, it is up to you, guys. Which song / theme suits a particular character best?
To make a start on this, here is a suggestion for Bill Roberts.

- raises the acceptance of killing humans in huge numbers,
- reveals everything bad and and even worse about human behaviour and psychology,
- is fun.
Holy crap, this is such a good question. There are soooo many songs and so many bands and sooooo many character traits that songs might exemplify for any given character. I just don't even know where to start, but I'm going to go with an obvious choice:
Scratch.
It'd be easy to choose something like Apex Predator by Otep, but I don't really hear it when I think of Scratch. Then I wonder what she'd listen to when she's just pimpin' around the living room, or hanging out in the tub or whatever, and it's easy to go with I'll Cut Your Hands Off by Melou (great band by the way). If I think of her back story I could say, "Oh well it only makes sense that it'd be Somewhat Damaged by Nine Inch Nails." But it's not that easy to pick one single facet to sum up the character with a piece of music, and I'm not even getting into cues from film scores. Jesus, we'd be here all year if I did. This is really something I should have blogged about--and I still may. Yeah. I have no answer for this, so it looks like this IS going to become a blog entry.

Pegs???
Well, something from Suzanne Vega, I guess ... For example:

Yeah, THIS is definitely a true song for Pegs!
+1

Hm, I am making a bold move and postulate that under his rough shell, Burt and his late wife liked Bowie's Heroes. He is a romantic guy and he truly loved his wife.
Sorry I'm late in responding to these posts, but I'm keeping away from current threads because I'm still not finished with Season 3. This song by Jewel just resonates Pegs to me. I'm sorry I couldn't find a proper video...the live performances are extremely annoying. Enjoy...and warning, if you've never heard this song before or get an allergic reaction to Jewel's music, this song might make you itch.
