Hi, I found this podcast when Season 4 started and binged on it from the beginning before I listened to the current stuff. Love it and hate that I came into the last Season. Just ask for more...

Hi! I found We're Alive a few years ago, around the end of the first season. I stumbled upon it when I was looking for old, scary radio dramas on Halloween. After the first episode I was hooked!
Well…about me? I'm a Portlander, on my last year of college getting a BS in microbiology, I have four kids, so I'm super busy. I love the zombie genre, and was Lori from The Walking Dead this past Halloween.
Come to think of it, I'm really not that interesting!

Hi my name is GamerGirl & I'm a WA addict
(Waits for the reply)
I'm in my mid 30's & I stumbled on to the show while randomly searching for something to listen to on my iPhone besides news & music near the start of season 4. I than proceeded to bing listen to the show & we're not dead.
I have a BA in theater - but mostly work customer service jobs. I will most likely end up being a lurker (as this is what i do on Facebook as much as I resolve not to)
My name comes from a love of tabletop roleplaying games & I am a co-organizer of a local group (if you're in eastern PA or western NJ PM me & I'll send you details).
My interest in the Zombie genera is new. I'm not a big fan of the stories that focus on the "zombies are here & we're all gonna die" stories (Night of, 28 days, Resident Evil), but I truly enjoy the "there's all this stuff going on & zombies just happen to be part of it" and "the zombie thing happened now how do we fix/learn from it" (Newsflesh, World War Z, Walking Dead).
Thanks KC & Shane for creating another great world to add to the list if "things my friends need to geek out with me list".
Thanks to the cast, crew, writers & production staff for the all hard work you do in making the show so great.

I don't really remember how I found We're Alive. I did find it last week. Maybe on twitter? Anyway, I am Leslie. I am one half of a blogging duo at geekygirlsguide.com. I live in Indianpolis. I am an IT Techie, and one of very few females in my department. I caught up on everything on We're Alive in a week. I am listening to the newest one right now.

Hi everyone, my name is Kostas and I'm located in Greece. Yep, I'm lucky enough to live on the foot of mount Olympus (in an ancient village called Dion), the mountain of the Gods, where probably I have better chances to survive the next Z-War :-D I don't remember where I read about "We're alive", but I got really stuck with it! It's equal to World War Z unabridged, though a different genre!! I'd like to thank you for the excellent work so far and looking forward to next chapters. May the 12 Gods be with you!

I've subscribed to podcasts in the past but this one has really captured by attention given the subject, sound effects, cast, etc. I'm in Michigan [amid the frozen tundra of this state] but have found a fantastic channel to get away from the dread of winter and into the dead of We're Alive! Sad to hear this is the last season but can understand that all good things come to an end. Looking forward to enjoying every episode to the end!

hi tonyhind68, thank you for the warm welcome! Kraken? Ehm, wrong mythology! Though I'm quite familiar with Norse mythology, I prefer a Greek beast, Cerberus! So yell with me "Release Cerberus, the three headed dog"!!! :-D

I am a single 40yo male that got an iPhone for birthday. I thought I would check out podcasts for something to listen to at night around the Halloween time. This podcast was featured. I started on the first episode (it was upto about season 3 and a half) I have never really been into zombie stuff apart from the British comedy film where they end up in the pub with the one display shotgun. Incidentally, I have been in the pub, in real life, on occasions (quite local). I am more into military stories, having read a lot of Andy McNab stuff. I found the introduction really cool and have listened to it all now. I got to current episode as of yesterday and was dreading the end

Hi everyone, I'm Jeremy and I'm a zombie-holic.
*everyone* "Hi Jeremy"
Been into zombies forever now, always been intrigued then when The Dawn of the Dead remake came out it got kicked into overdrive.
Stumbled upon the podcast about a year ago when I traded my Iphone for an android and was looking for a podcast app and the first recomendation it gave was for WA. Couldn't stop listening, have probably re-listened to the entire story 3-4 times now. Came here to the site for answers via the wiki and figured I'd make an account and share with some of the posts on here.

It seems to be scarier and let's my mind work up more. I live in Michigan, parent, husband and I work for a copier company that sometimes is used as a verb.....

I found the series last December while on a random Itunes search. DL'ed a couple of episodes at a time, but never really got hooked until the first season finale - specifically the moment where they decided to throw out the sweat bottles during the middle of the firefight. I have a background in law enforcement, and was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy the writers got with the prison scenes.
It's been fun catching up on things and lurking around, as well as getting involved in show mythology....not to mention having fun with it.

Hi guys,
My name is Bunny (yes that's really my real name !)
I live in England and am studying at university here in a London (or as the Americans call it College).
I study law, so can really relate to Kelly as it engrains in you a certain way of thinking and looking at things. Also don't forget how god damn hard it is, she may not be a scientist but she is damn smart so I love how Kc has turned her character into what we see now and that she is doing something crucial.
I found We're Alive about 18 months ago and fell in love, safe to say I caught up on all the episodes very quickly. Am jealous of those yet to discover in a way!!
I love all things zombie, really don't mind what kind of story arch. But I must say I love the general atmosphere in We're Alive.
Constantly plugging the series on my social networking profiles to the UK!
Thanks for reading guys!!

Good evening and greetings...
I'd prefer to keep my name to m'self, but suffice it to say I'm from the United States. I've spent lots of time in the Eastern and Western states, and served a proselyting mission two years in the South. I'm almost graduated from college, and I'll be glad to get out of it altogether.
I actually started the zombie craze years ago when my brother introduced me to a rare gem called "Fort Zombie"... I'm afraid I haven't been able to go back since. Left 4 Dead was what really got me started in, though. I also enjoy role playing systems like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Outbreak Undead, and many others. I've been gaming since 1996... I discovered We're Alive by sheer luck, and have been enjoying it since.

Hi, I suffer longterm depression and anxiety, recently I have found listening to audiobooks and your podcast help me greatly just leaving the flat. I can plug myself in and cope with things that otherwise would leave me with a full pannic attack. I feel guilty that i am unable to donate or otherwise help you and show my appreciation for the help you have given me. I have even re listened to previous series when i am uptodate with the current one.
Without distractions such as your podcast, there would be even more days that even leaving the flat would be impossible.
I know these words are nothing compared to what you have given me, but I still need to show my gratitude.
Thanks, and keep up the good work,

Hey Guys just wanted to say hi I'm from Perth Westeren Australia, I'm a really big fan of your work I found you purely by accident on the iTunes podcasts, your work it's insanely fabulous!!! I now find myself listening to the show instead of movies, incredible idea only using audio especially for a Zombie podcast, scary & suspenseful as hell though! You have made a Fan outta me, I think all the characters are excellent and extremely well written, it's amazing the emotion that the Actors get into the series, I've laughed and cried aswell as been on the edge of my seat (most of the time) I think what you have created is more than a story. You created a journey and people are loving following these Characters on this epic journey.Anyway keep up all your fantastic work.

Name is Jessy and I feel like I have finally arrived, what have I been doing all my life that I just found this site and the We're Alive podcast today. I can sum that up in one word Ohio, yep my home state, it was hot and sunny at 4 and snowing at 5, ugggg. I have loved horror and most of all zombies since I was little. I have read hundreds of zombie ebooks, and usually listen to audio books of the zombie kind everyday at work. I work all day literally, if I'm not at my salaried job as an estimator for a restoration/construction company, I'm in my workshop refurbishing, up cycling, re purposing, building, creating, drawing, painting,......if I'm not in my workshop with my 7 year old son than I'm with him in every possible free second I get. Oh and every Sunday my best friend and I watch the Walking Dead and plan for the zompoc. So that's me, pretty simple and definitely weird, but happy and glad to be here! Thanks for having me....

I have loved this genre since I first watched the original Dawn of the Dead. I think I have just found my new home.

Hello everyone! My name is Jayce, and I am very new to audio books/podcast. We're alive is the first, and still the only that I have listened to thus far. I just started listening a few weeks ago and I am now almost caught up. Just about to start chapter 44. I just recently found out that this is the last season and I feel sick to my stomach. We're Alive is so well done, it is just amazing. It's like popping in one of my top 10 favorite zombie movies of all time, but not having the video cable connected. I can't believe how much I have fallen in love with the characters, and it is so sad that it is coming to an end soon. Lets hope enough people cry about it and they decide to continue. Hey! Cast and crew, can't you guys just take a break? Take a year off and then come back! Anyway, I have a strong feeling nothing out there even comes close to comparing with We're Alive. Sadly, I think it will remain numero uno in my heart. Does anybody know of any other good zombie/apocalyptic stories to listen to? We're Alive has really opened my eyes (or ears) to this whole podcast thing. It is really nice listening to this on my way to and from work in the morning and evening. I would like to continue listening to podcast.
P.S. To the cast and crew of We're Alive... Thank you, for everything! It has been so much fun!

Hello, everyone. My name is Neal, and I teach college English. I'm also a huge fan of radio drama past and present, and I've been enjoying this podcast since shortly after it began (with a small handful of lapses due to work). I am engrossed in the ongoing story. It took me this long to jump onto these forums (again because of work), but I'm looking forward to meeting fellow fans. I wish all the cast members, past and present, the best. I also hope the story itself eventually becomes a hot property. See you all around the forums.

Hey all! My name is Jameson and I work and live in Boston. I stumbled across We're Alive about 8 weeks ago or so, as I was driving around looking for a good podcast to listen to while working on my new job. I was told to check out Anything Ghost, but I wasn't too keen on the delivery of the shows. I still have that and The Moonlit Road, which is also fun, but nothing is quite like We're Alive...
I never thought much about radio shows, even though I was involved in a "radio show" project in college years ago. It's so much fun, and I'm already on Chapter 40 Part 1 since I started listening 8 weeks ago. In this day and age of binging on tv shows thanks to OnDemand and Netflix, it's been fun to drive around and listen to the radio show, especially when Im in the car alone and on a longer trip. It certainly makes the regular radio pale in comparison.
I went to a communications college here in the city, and have always dreamed of pursuing my creative talents, and this sort of thing is certainly inspiring! I also happen to be looking for similar podcasts if anyone else is familiar with them? I only recently signed up with these forums, but quickly found The Leviathan Chronicles? I also was curious if anyone has listened to the HP Lovecraft Historical Society's radio show, that does dramatic readings of HPL's famous works.
Looking forward to the rest of the show, and also not looking forward to it ending! It's been great fun! My only lament is not being able to be part of the journey with y'all!
Cheers!

Hi folk,
My name is D.A. Roberts and I'm a zombie author. I write the zombie series, The Ragnarok Rising Saga. I found this website by searching for one of my favorite things.....zombies. I hope that I get the chance to get to know you and share our common love of the zombie genre.
In addition to being a zombie author, I'm a Corrections Officer with the Greene County Sheriff's Office in Springfield, Mo. I'm also an amateur prepper, hunter, and fisherman. I love the Missouri outdoors. I love to camp with my wife and kids, and I hope that one day my writing reaches the point where I have the freedom to write, camp and travel all the time. That would be a dream come true.
If any of you are interested, I will be giving away the kindle edition of my first book on Amazon this weekend....for free. I'd love to share it with you all and hear what you all have to say about it. It's available starting June 13th and running through the 15th....free to download.
Anyway, thanks for having such a cool place for zombie fans to meet and chat. I'm going to enjoy listening to the podcasts and exchanging ideas, stories and conversation with you all.
Thanks,
DA Roberts

My name is Todd and I live in Palmerston North New Zealand. I'm a big science fiction fan but love any great drama. I've been listening to the podcast since season 2 and just love the story and characters that KC and the team have created. Not so much a zombie fan but this podcast is just such an amazing production that I suspect there's a few of us just caught up in the drama. Really anticipating the final episode - this is definitely one of the highlights of my entertainment experiences in my life. Only just joined the forums because I want to share the experience with others - anyone else out there from NZ?

Hey all,
Been lurking quite a while, but finally decided to join (great timing, right?) the tower.
Done my second time through, and it gets better every time. I came across in a strange way.. I am a big fan of the original Superman radio shows, and wanted to see if there was anything modern that could compare. I couldn't be happier that I found We're Alive last season.
There is honestly nothing like it on the planet. It blows Superman out of the water. The production quality and character depth is unreal!
In short - I love this podcast. :D

Of course I check it out and see, well like a lot of things I am the last to hear about it and it's soon coming to an end. So I sit down at my computer and by weeks end I have caught totally up to the releases. I was taken back (not THAT long back), my sister and I would lay in bed with the headset radios were got for Christmas listening to an hour each night to a horror story. I cannot remember the name but I remember how much I loved it. I cannot wait to hear future works. I may be an ole fart but I love a good story and I love ZOMBIES!!! :zombie:

I recently discovered We're Alive on my trip to Texas visiting my best friend who recommended it to me--insisted I would love it, and she was right! I'm hooked! Barely on Season 2 though (Shh, don't tell but I listen to it at work!). I'm 21, recently graduated UCLA, working in an HR office. Love to shoot guns, read comics, play video games (PC, Xbox, PS3), blah blah blah. I haven't done forums in a while, but I used to be obsessed, so perhaps you'll see me lurking in the threads.
Can you believe I actually come home at night and my dinner conversation with my boyfriend is catching him up on all the chapters I listened to that day! XD

Hi everyone!
My name is Jessica, and though I came across We're Alive when I first got an iPhone about a year and a half ago, I didn't actually start listening to it until a couple of weeks ago. Someone I follow on Twitter who listens to another podcast I follow mentioned something about We're Alive, which got me curious to see what it was all about. I'm already halfway through the third season, and I'm hoping to catch up in time to catch the series finale, especially since it'll the last time something like this is done. I'm not sure if I'll make it or not, because along with listening to the actual episodes, I'm also making my way through the other podcasts related to We're Alive as well, currently the We're Not Dead, though I'll be listening to the We're Alive Fancast once I start season 4, so I'll be listening to double the amount of podcasts for a few chapters, until We're Not Dead ceased its podcasting around chapter 40 or so, though I've yet to hear the reason behind it, though hopefully there is one.
Being visually impaired, I'm not a gamer or comic book person like I'm sure a lot of you are, though I read a lot of books in general, just not comics. If anyone has any good zombie novel recommendations, feel free to either reply here or send me a private message. We're Alive is the first zombie story I've come across in an audio drama format, so I'm curious to find other zombie fiction. I can only think of two novels offhand, so I'm sure I'm missing a lot.
I'm currently on summer break between semesters of college, where I'm working to get a degree in social work, to eventually become a rehabilitation counselor for other visually impaired people, helping them to find work, or get an education, or just get equipment that they can use to make living independently easier. This has turned into a longer ramble than I meant it to be, though hopefully no one cares too much. :)

Welcome Jessica MissWings1981 ! At the rate you're going you should have no problem getting all caught up by the series finale. The trend is that most fans fly through the series within a few short weeks. As for We're Not Dead (May they Rest In Peace) ended due to scheduling conflicts and constraints of the hosts. We're poking them with sticks for a final episode in some form or fashion. I have started to read a zombie series called Deadlocked, that I found entertaining. It's a lot different from We're Alive in that the pace is must faster and deals mostly with immediate survival rather than long term.

Hi Everyone, just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed listening to We're Alive. Unfortunately, I only discovered the show recently, and was sad to see it was finishing so soon after I started listening! I only have a few chapters to go before I am caught up, so that will probably be just in time for the finale. So I'm looking forward to being able to share in the discussions about the ending. Not looking forward to finishing the show though, what am I going to listen to on long drives after this?
Nice of you to join us Teldra . Yeah, it sad to see it ending.

I started listening at the end of season 1. I was amazed at how addicted I got to WA. I'm from Mass and I tell everyone I can about the show and only a few would even give it a shot to listen and they're addicted as I am. I found WA thru iTunes randomly and so lucky/happy I did. I do admit I'm a bit sad it's coming to an end but my excitement for the finale is almost too much for me to handle lol this show is what makes Mondays more bearable hahaha

Hi fellow We're Alive Forumites from Philly.
I can't say I'm a lurker although I've known about the Forum for a while. I started listening to We're Alive less than 2 months ago on the advice of my best friend (I don't know how he found out but it's not because of Greg Miller). I took me no time to become completely hooked on this show. We're Alive has become my favorite piece of fiction of any kind, IN ANY MEDIUM, for like the past 10 years. It's been a long time since a particular work made me cry in one instance (Lizzie/Datu episode) and then made me laugh uncontrollable during another (Victor's Frodo joke) all while filling me with excitement and dread in almost every episode.
Since I started I have listened to the whole series (up to the finale) twice (including the freakin season recaps). I've finished all of We're Not Dead and am halfway through the We're Alive Fancast. Though I have known about the Forum I chose not to log into it until today to minimize hearing about everyone's predictions. I really love feeling the rush of not having any clue about what's going to happen and just letting K.C. work his magic. For instance, had I been reading the Forum all along Tanya being revealed to be Saul's mom would never have been the complete shock that it was to me. If you burn through the episodes - because they've long since been released - you really don't have time to speculate on who Tanya is and whether she is connected to the Tower, as within an hour or so the connection is made clear. Based on what I heard on WND I feel like the Forum had already figured out that connection way before the reveal episode. To hear We're Alive as one long finished work, with no need to wait between breaks, is perhaps a different experience than what most of you had. That said, I feel so guilty that I never had to wait weeks between episodes and chapter cliffhangers (well, except for the finale) as many of you did. It would have been so annoying!
Anyway it's pretty late here on the East Coast and I need to get to bed. So, in closing, I'm so jealous of all of you out in L.A. who got to hear the series finale and party with the cast and crew. With all the podcasts I feel like everyone is already my friend, including Forum denizens like Britt, Greg (I'm glad Pete made it through until the final episode), Nik Voodoo, Red Beard, Mick, Osirus (sorry, I'm hoping Scratch bites it because she scares me), Redshirt, Witchdoctor, whoever the guy is with the crow theory (Grog?), and the rest of you. You all sound like fun people and I enjoyed hearing your voices or hearing about your thoughts in WND and WA Fancast.
I won't post again for another week as I'm planning on downloading the finale on Monday and then having my own listening party with my friend later in the week. I don't want to know ANYTHING about it beforehand. I hope to be a much more active Forum poster though I fear I may have already missed the boat and that most of you will have already moved on with the close of the series.
Anyway, for those who went, hope you're having a blast in L.A.
Oh and thank you K.C. for this amazing show! It's so good that I can forgive you and Blair for not liking "Frozen" (one of my favorite pieces of fiction of the year, though certainly not on the level of We're Alive).

Hello,
I'm Erica. Certified elementary school teacher, using my teaching degree to plan and design curriculum in a college setting. Decided I wasn't a big fan of the 1-6 graders after doing my student teaching. I enjoy writing, and I love to read, run, and cook.
I discovered the We're Alive Podcast after reading the Slow Burn series (which I highly recommend, by the way for those who enjoy the infected/zombie genre). After blazing through the first 5 volumes in the Slow Burn series in a little under 2 weeks, I knew I'd have a while to wait for book 6 (Fall 2014, to be exact), and in need of a fix, a Google search led me to the podcast, and eventually to the forum, here.
I have only made it to chapter 27 of the podcasts, but I've enjoyed every one of them. I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone to fill in some of the blanks I haven't been able to fill in for myself, related to the storyline, and to read others reviews, as well as get to know others who enjoy the genre I enjoy so much.

Hi everyone!
I'm Alie from the U.S. I'm a huge fan of the horror genre, especially zombies! I've watched every zombie movie I can find, played countless hours of l4d2, and am slowly trying to knock out all the main Resident Evil games. I've seen all the RE movies (they're terrible/i love them) and read all the S.D. Perry books too!)
I'm a recent graduate from university and work as a freelance illustrator. Podcasts help me stay focused as I work, and I inevitably stumbled upon this one. I'm only on chapter 22, but the unique take on the infected has me hooked, especially the zombies that appear to have cognizance... creepyy.
In the event of a zombie apocalypse I'm totally screwed since I live in the city.
Nice to meet my fellow zombie lovers!

Howdy Folks
I just finished the series this morning around 4am after first listening to it about 10 days ago. Magnificent entertainment.
Not generally a zombie fanatic, but I do read walking dead, watch the show, and enjoy the original black and white george romero, night of the living dead. I'm also a big fan of the Left 4 Dead zombie video game, as well as the Max Brooks "Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z."
Okay, who am I kidding? I'm a zombie nut, and I am one of those crazy zombie geeks who constantly plans and makes certain preparations for Z-Day.
I was turned onto the show by sort of accident. I'm an apartment maintenance technician by trade, and I usually spend most of my day with headphones in my ears while I work on projects. A coworker, my building's porter, does the same. And on one such occasion on about the 4th of August, 2014, where we were turning an apartment from Apocalypse to Rent Ready, I asked him what he was listening to. "Simon Peg on the Nerdist with Chris Hardwick." 3 things jumped out at me.
That Night, I downloaded "The Nerdist App" by Happy Pizza. a TERRIBLE way to listen to the show. After getting through about 100 - 200 shows through the month of August (just me and the podcast), I downloaded a different app, "Podcast addict." it had many better features than the app I had been using previously.
After my initial search for just the Nerdist podcasts, the associated shows of Nerdist Industries came up, and there it was. Right there, just waiting to be clicked upon. "We're Alive."
So i did. i downloaded the first 6 episodes. Chapters 1 and 2. I gave it a listen on my way to work on an early Friday. At first I laughed, quite a bit. Especially Michael's initial description of Peggs. "She had chocolate brown hair, and brown eyes . . .etc" (What is this, Detective Noir?) But by the time we got to the Army Reserve base, and Saul being scolded by Angel, "It looked like you weren't even trying to avoid the Commander!"
That was Thursday, the 18th of September. I covered quite a bit of ground since then, and as glad as I am that I didn't have to wait with anticipation like most - the episodes were all laid out in front of me - I do miss that I never got a chance to go to a live recording. That would truly have been a blast.
So, there it was, 4am, and I was ready to enroll in training!

Hi, I'm Sue. A friend recommended We're Alive to me about a month ago. I wasn't working at the time so I was able to listen to the entire series in less than two weeks. My friend is just starting Season 2. I have recommended it to several people and everyone has loved it. I am not a zombie fan, so my love for this was a little shocking to me. I inhaled it. And now I'm missing it, I may have to start again soon.
My friend found the podcast because it beat out his favorite podcast for one of the podcast awards, so he decided to give it a try. He knows I love to listen to podcasts so he sent it my way. He did not tell me it was about zombies. I listen to a lot of podcasts and this is really well done, both acting and producing. (Having edited my share of podcasts and adding sound effects I know how hard it is to do right, this is really well done).
A little about me, I am a preschool teacher, my kids love to play zombies. I live in OR on a small farm, we raise chickens and sell the eggs. I learned about forums from a Harry Potter forum, I was so green I had to ask how to post. I've come a long way. I listen to podcasts while I work in the garden and wash eggs. With 50 to 60 chickens, I wash a lot of eggs. I'm an avid reader, I'm able to convert stories to my iPod, so I listen to books when I'm not listening to podcasts.

Hello all! My name's Carly and I'm from Pennsylvania. I came across this while browsing through the Nerdist network on my new podcast app a couple of weeks ago and I've been hooked ever since. We're Alive has quickly become one of my favorite new hobbies! I listen to the podcast every chance I get anymore. I'm only just finishing up season 3 now and its been one heck of a ride. I'm a huge fan of Burt as well as Angel and Riley. CJ is quickly becoming a favorite of mine as well.
A little about myself; I'm 24 female and married to an amazing man whom I've been seeing for over 10 years now. I'm a huge gamer and an even bigger nerd. If I'm not spending my time in front of my computer or my consoles, I'm reading and occasionally sewing. I'm also a big car enthusiast. I've helped my husband restore an old 50s tractor, a 70s GTO and now we're working on an '80s Suburban. We're big on outdoors as well, taking hikes any chance we get and even going so far as to do overnight hikes just to find somewhere new and exciting. I'm also an adrenaline junkie and enjoy shooting guns as a weekend hobby but I'm a horrible hunter.

Hi, guys! First time poster, here!
I recently began a term on Acting for Radio at university and my lecturer recommended this show - and I have fast become hooked.
I have devoured the first season without it even touching the sides. I remember dropping my XBOX controller when Burt came out of his coma to save Saul's life and have since made sure I am not around anything valuable when I listen.
Best moment so far, though, had to be that first explosion in chapter 12. I was listening through headphones at the time while travelling to work on the bus. It shook my skull and I almost hit the deck for fear of debris. A fantastic use of sound!
Now my only worry is rationing the next 3 seasons!

I am June, a fever stricken fan of We're Alive. I found out about it from a zombie calendar my brothers got me for Xmas. It was on Jan 23rd. I found it and downloaded the First season from iTunes and listened to it during quiet spells at work(which is a lot of the time). Soon filled my IV with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seasons and I am listening to all of it again for the second time. So yeah I like it :)

Hey all! I'm Natasha. Long time Listener, First Time Poster. I'm 26 and hail from Northeastern Ohio. I discovered this wonderful drama a couple years ago but my primary listening device was not the most reliable so I would have to play a constant stream of catch up. Finally listened to the final and starting listen #2 (coincidentally by birthday is 7/29, so the finale and I got to share that). I feel massively late to the party but here I am anyway! Desperately working on getting like-minded people to listen to We're Alive. Wish me luck!
Five Interesting Things About Myself:
1. I went to Film School and now work for a background checking company (look how well that turned out!)
2. I've traveled to four countries outside of the US (England, France, Egypt, and Italy)
3. I'm currently struggling between 'I should build myself a tiny house and move out west' and just 'let me go and live out in California with my best friend who apparently wants a farm' (I'm looking for a new job just... fyi? if anyone knows anyone? relocation...)
4. Currently working on a novel (who isn't?) although this time I actually plan to finish it. It's Urban Fantasy-ish? I guess?
5. I've had chinese food for lunch three times this week. Someone stop me.

I'm new on the forum!
My name is Max, I'm 21 years old (since like 2 weeks wooh) and I'm from Québec, Canada. French is my first language so I double-check my sentences a few times before posting them, to be sure they are ok :P
I used to study in cinema. I really loved it but studies arent really my thing, whoops. So yeah, a really close friend told me about We're alive and I'm now addicted to the plot, and the characters (I'm a devoted Saul-fan XD)
Yeah, I dunno what to add to my introduction...
I love everything zombie related and i LOVE these kind of podcasts

Hello, welcome to the forum :)
Sorry it's a bit quiet right now, it has been nearly a year since the Final episode aired, and haven't got anything new to pick apart! But don't worry, soon TFWA will air, and everyone will come flocking back to theorise over every little detail ;)
How far have you gotten with the series?

Hello. I am a new member. I just finished the first season on a long road trip. I was very addicted. I can't believe how fast it was over. I can't wait for more. I live in a rural part of Texas and listen to a lot of books. This was the first full cast storyline I have listened to. I loved it.I am happily married with 5 kids and home school 3 of them. I am happy I found this site.

At the tender age of 62, I decided to write my first book. It seems I do everything at a tender age. I got my B.S. from Illinois State University at 44, my M.S. from Illinois State University at 46, and my J.D. from Southern Illinois University at 49. I was admitted to practice law at the age of 50. I am an avid coin collector, love playing tournament bridge, enjoy reading, and like working crossword puzzles. I enjoy the Zombie genre and am a huge fan of Bobby Adair, T.W. Piperbrook, and the Resident Evil movie series.
The title of my book is "The Trek to Elysium Chronicles : Volume 1: A Zombie Apocalyptic Tale. I plan 2 more books for this series. I am hoping, as most authors would, to find some interesting things for my book and like most listeners, hope to hear an awesome story.
I found some of your shows on youtube, listened to a few and became instantly addicted. :)

I'm Cam, I'm 22 and I live in Florida. My ex showed me this podcast and since we're still bros, we are always on about it to each other, but I wanted to come here and find more people who love the podcast. I spent one year each at two different colleges for different fields of study and crashed pretty hard. I stay afloat mentally by listening to podcasts and audiobooks while I play minecraft. I remember building a fish tank in a desert throughout Catching Fire while I was listening the Hunger Games trilogy. Anyway I joined the forums because Michael Swan told me to, but it looks like there hasn't been a lot of activity for a couple days. I hope the forum isn't totally dead, I'm almost now 92 parts away from catching up.
Also, I'm probably going to live on a sailboat in the next few months and I love meandering around grocery stores and furniture showrooms.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Joshua, and I live in San Diego County in California. I work in the gaming industry fixing slot machines. I enjoy playing roleplaying games, reading, and listening to audio dramas. A couple friends of mine who absolutely love "We're Alive: A Story of Survival" got me hooked on the show as well. My wife and I jumped on the chance to help with the Kickstarter and are fans/supporters for life. The show is so wide open to possibilities. I am really excited to see what happens next.

Hey Peepz! My name is Thayree (pronounced Tyree and yes im a FEMALE!) and I am a huge fan of this Were Alive podcast. It truly is an amazing story with great actors and everyone involved behind the scenes is amazing to put this podcast together. Great Job you guys!
I love anything that has to deal with my Saxophone or playing music in general, any type of art, anime, comics, fantasy/Greek Mythology, tattoos, Horror films (good ones of course!) First person shooter games, Martial Arts/Dance/FOOTBALL, Muscle Cars are sexy (I'm a Charger/Challenger/Camaro kind of chick) and the latest gadgets. Yup I'm basically a nerd.
I love anything Vintage/Retro/Victorian or arts and crafts. I'm basically a hippie lmao, I'm down for hugging the trees ^_^ I feel like I'm not from this time period. Weird huh? Ummmm.. I'm a cancer lmao what else do you wanna know! Hit me up!

Hello new faces.
MisterMills357
Aug 18th, 2015, 10:56 AM
I've been a part of many forums around the interwebs and they almost always have sort of introduction section or just a thread.
So I figured we need one too. I shall start with myself...
Hi!
My name is Jesse, I currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky(I know most people have no idea where that is). I am a Graphic Designer and work on computers in my spare time for extra cash and currently work for a Car and Outdoor publication, and been doing that for going on 4 or so years now. When I'm not working I also enjoy going to the occasional horror film convention if I can afford to do so.:p
I enjoy long walks on the beach and....just kidding.
I have been a horror film fan for many a years, my uncle gave me my first horror movie Hellraiser on my 5th birthday. It scared the shit out of me and I gave it back to him only to reclaim it years later. Since then it's helped mold me into the weirdo that I am today with a healthy obsession with everything zombie.
I absolutely loved playing Left 4 Dead in my spare time with my girlfriend feet from me fighting alongside me. So if anyone else here enjoys blasting zombies in the face and plays on PC, feel free to message me for my Steam username and we can get a game going.
I also love We're Alive, it's exactly what the zombie genre needed(The Walking Dead included). Well that's all I have to say for now, hope to hear from the rest of you guys on here.
I was stationed at Fort Knox, and I used to go to Louisville a lot. I came to love it, and it made me a NCAA basketball fan too.
I recall Denny Crum winning the title in 1980, and The Ville pretty well went nuts.
This is just me voicing an opinion, but anyone that does not know where Louisville is, is a little bit wanting in basic geography.
Jeez, it is on every road atlas there is. Whooooppps! I forgot, nobody uses those anymore.:squint:
We have "advanced" in America, into something or other, I can't quite tell what it is, but it ain't too smart.
PS: I have been a fan of shoot 'em up games since Wolfenstein and Doom. And here recently, Zombie flicks have really grown on me.

Hey! I really don't have any favorite directors/ writers in mind but I do have to say that Walking Dead so far is great- the Fear of the Walking Dead is great...I do find 28 weeks later was crazy (That's part two right)? The ones were the zombies were crazy fast? The beginning of that movie was epic in my opinion.. I haven't felt a chill in my body from a horror movie ever since The Exorcist..
What about you?

It got very boring at one point and I found this podcast and I've been hooked since. I have listened on the edge of my seat and I am really excited Lockdown!

Hi everyone I would just like to introduce myself, my name is paul and I'm from England.
I'm a massive fan of we're alive and can't wait for lockdown also I'm sure most people would agree that I think we're alive should be turned into a TV series as this would be hugely popular worldwide.

I hope I'm posting this correctly. I don't do forums very often.
My name is Rich. I currently live with my Wife and kids in my hometown of Knoxville, TN. I'm an active duty member of the United States Air Force serving as a Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education Instructor. I started out in the Army National Guard in Field Artillery then moved on to the Army Reserve as a Civil Affairs Direct Support Team NCOIC. I served as a Police Officer during my Guard and Reserve time. I later joined the Air National Guard in Security Forces. After a couple of deployments in Security Forces, I decided to make the Air Force my career. Since then, I served as a Military Training Leader, Military Training Instructor (drill instructor for you non-Air Force types), Recruiter, and the job I do now. Despite my age (43), I have yet to grow up. I love all things Zombie. I learned about We're Alive from an article in the Air Force Times. I loved the story and can't wait for Lockdown to come out!

Hi! :) My name is Billie, I'm 23 from the UK. I found the podcast and caught up with it just in time for the finale so it's been a little while. I don't know anyone else who's listened to it - not for the lack of trying - so I figured I'd finally make an account. I have a theory/query that's been bugging me so I'm hoping I can find an answer.

Hi! I'm Marsha, I live in Newfoundland on the East Coast of Canada. We're an island, with tons of little islands around us, and an abundant ocean and forest - well located to survive the zombie apocalypse, long as you can find a way to stay warm in winter!
I got into We're Alive awhile ago. As a big Walking Dead fan, I figured it'd be right up my alley. It blew me away. Smarter than the Walking Dead, and the zombies are of course much more interesting! I just finished the series finale and now I'm cold turkey and I don't like it. Lucky I got a coworker into the series, she is in Season 3, so at least I have someone to talk to about it.
The audio is just amazing, it's like I'm really there. I have no doubt I'll be relistening to the entire series very soon. :)

I first heard about WA on the podcast "Fallout Off the Record". Also a big Walking Dead fan- but there is a whole other level of suspense with this audio format. I just finished the series for the first time; in a few weeks I'll have surgery and plan to listen again while I recover. Something to look forward to!

Hello, my name is Sara and I'm from Des Moines, IA. I have never been into zombies until I played The Walking Dead (Telltale) on XBox360. I've never even knew about Podcasts until I heard about Serial, so when I heard about We're Alive I thought I'd check it out and now I'm on my 3 time trough the series. I recently discovered the We're Not Dead podcast which brought me here! I used to listen to old time radio dramas/thrillers on cassette tape back in the day so I am really enjoying this show, especially my 3rd time through. I pick up something different each time. Thanks for making such a quality product!!!

I stumbled upon this podcast and I am hooked. I volunteer to stay in the office and watch the phones while everyone else goes to lunch...then I cue it up on my phone. I find myself looking for excuses to run errands so I can listen to it while I'm driving. I take the long way home. I sit in the driveway, mainlining episodes. (I'm on chapter 16, part one.) I found this website and lo and behold....a forum!
Hmmm, about me. I never know what to say in these threads. I live near the water. I like salmon. I have a dog. I love stories and geek out in various fandoms. I don't like to fly but I love to travel so I deal. I can't stand doing laundry or yard work. I'm an all right cook. No one has died from my cooking but I did give me and my roommates food poisoning once. (Pay attention to the expiration dates on bleu cheese, people.)

I was introduced to We're Alive just after the end of the fourth season by a rpg player of mine at work. He, Chris, and his wife, Yomary, are both MEGA fans. Yomary has been listening to We're Alive over and over again since she discovered it. So they shared it with me. I really don't enjoy "zombie" "horror" flavored things. But I gave it a listen, and I have been hooked since. I've been trying to get a group of my rpg players together to run a "We're Alive" San Diego survival game for a while.

Hi, My name is Cam, I live in Australia with my family. I have a part time job at a Fish and Chippery shop and I just play computer games the other hours. while listening to Were alive. which gives me ideas on the game I play. The scenery and that.
The way I found this podcast was during my old school. Talking about it and we had to make our own podcasts based on the ideas of Were alive. That's when I created one which is about 15 mins long. but that was about 3 years ago. I have been listening to podcast straight on for 3 days. 2 weekends and 1 Monday, no longer. I replayed this 3 times to hear what was going on. I am now ready for Lockdown!

Hi, I found WA through a search or some recommendation online somehow. Can't remember where or how. I bookmarked it to check out later, lost all my bookmarks. Then many months later found it again. I love it. I became a zombie fan watching a marathon of Walking Dead about 4 years ago. Never thought I would like zombies, but I have been into dystopian and apocalyptic fiction forever. So, this is another sort of apocalypse and the survival aspects and struggles and dilemmas of trying to rebuild are what I love the most. The WA zombies are the most interesting zombies I have come across so far. I like all the different types and their different features. I like that some of them are smart.
About me? Well, I enjoy other geeky stuff - like Doctor Who, LOTR. My favorite pastimes are knitting, reading, tv, movies, writing, food.

Hi! My name is Chris, im 33 and I LOVE listening!!!!! It has became an addiction! I listen in between driving to my next job to install internet phone or cable... or all 3...
I just started listening recently, and im now on chapter 33...
I heard about it from a "fallout 4" podcast, and SO thankful I did, it has became so important in my daily routines.
I am an Army Vet and I love how the little things that are thrown in that mainly military personnel would know, is really cool. On that same note, it DRIVES ME CRAZY that the soldiers call a "Humvee" a "hummer"... lol...
Well its so cool to have a central location for us ans to gather to and I look forward to many more episodes!

Hey y'all. I'm Cheryl and I'm from PA. I discovered We're Alive while putzing around on Podbay last week and it's my new favorite thing. I can't believe I never even heard of it before as much as I love all things horror. I found this site while doing a Google search for spoilers to see if a certain character survived to the end in case I needed to mentally prepare myself for the worst, and I'm super happy to have found a place where I can come and hang out with other fans. I'm late to the party (as usual) but I think I'm going to have fun catching up!

Oh right, well, I probably should have done this months ago. :) Anyway, hello! I'm from California, literally an hour and 20 minutes away from the setting of the story of survival! I found We're Alive through a friend who had been after me for about a year and a half to check it out. I finally gave in and took a listen, and I was hooked. Though I don't think it was a good idea to listen to it at one in the morning. I was scared that one would pop out from my closet or from any of the doors in the hallway as I went from room to room in my huge house the next day. I had started listening in the second week of June of 2014, and finished the night that the last part of chapter 47 was released.

Haha, I get it. Grog is an old tinfoil hatter from waaaaay back on the Forum; he first surmised some years ago that whenever a crow was heard in the background of a scene, it signified a foreboding of death.
Well, that WASN'T the case until Kc, having read the theory, actually planted a few crow sounds as harbingers of death in later episodes! Haaa!!
Uh, speaking of... I seem to distinctly recognize Litmaster's voice as one of the main characters in the newest production....? :nik:

Yea, actually, it was a caller for one of the Live shows. Postulated that Crows were related to Scratch. I had the thought also, but it was more encompassing. We hear a lot of song birds in the background when Saul Serves pancakes to Michael.
Burt meets Riley for the first time and says, Enchante' mademoiselle -- Tweak this just a bit and it becomes Enchanted, Lady Bird.
Then Scratch and crows and everyone gets, wait for it, BIRD names!!!!
For me, it's just another reason to listen to We're Alive, SURE!
Gotta binge Lockdown!
As for voice. awesome Lit! I thought I was going to get a cameo, I had the winning bid on eBay for like $1,200 until the final minutes, back when KC was raising some Air Fare for a flight East during Season Three.

Nah. Maybe mor like 137 times more torturous (48 chapters x 3 parts - 4 single releases of the last episode for each season) for those who started on episode 1..... Not to mention the season breaks.
(Not for me I found the searies at the end of chapter 3 (or the break between 3-4) so I only had to deal with the wait for the last season & lockdown)

Nah. Maybe mor like 137 times more torturous (48 chapters x 3 parts - 4 single releases of the last episode for each season) for those who started on episode 1..... Not to mention the season breaks.

Came in at the end of two. Convinced my sister to listen and then I had to wait for her to catch up so I could at least talk to someone. All way before I got into the forum chatter a couple of months ago. An interesting experience to say the least.

My sister didn't even want to hear about it from me. She listened to it later on with her Fiance instead, and now she's hooked. But she doesn't talk about it with me. Only him. But I have my brother to talk to about it, so it's all good! Hah!

Ah! I wouldn't have been able to stand it! I'm very impatient when it comes to weekly releases.

Welcome. You sound like the rest of us.

Hi new listener here gonna keep a lot of my personal information secret as I might end up oversharing here since I'm using this as an outlet while I'm going through some stuff.
Just picked this up since I've been listening to No Sleep for a long time and heard about this one from a plug on there, I think, anyway here I am.
Anyway Hi.

Now THAT'S something to....... crow about! :D
Lit, what part were you in?
Damn, I guess my joke was too subtle. I WASN'T in anything, that's just me wishful thinking.
Grog hears crows before impending death in the story, so Kc writes it in.
So... I 'hear' myself in the story, so Kc...
...but nah. That's just me wishful thinking. :nik:

Ha ha. Gotcha. Right there with you. I absolutely interpreted the character, Chuck, being modeled after me. "Crusty old black dude, numbers man for a big company, freakishly able to recall vasts amount of trivial information and details."

It was a great distraction I started listening Monday morning and wrapped up Lockdown last night which was phenomenal.
