As with any series, there is generally a rocky beginning where everyone is fighting to find their footing, and the actors find the voice--no pun intended--of their characters, and develop relationships and rapport. The cast have done brilliant work.

Hey Everyone,

My name is Will and I'm a mortgage administrator from N.Ireland. I found this podcast by accident some months ago while searching for something to listen to on the PODCASTS! app for windows phones. I was laying a new kitchen floor and had already been up to date with all my other audio fixes and needed something to entertain or engage my imagination while cutting boards and measuring.

I was first drawn in by the illustration and description and had never given audio drama's a go before and thought, hey.. why not?

I'm glad I did. sufficed to say I powered through every available episode in every spare moment I had. Mostly staying up late at night with a cup of tea, eyes closed, immersing myself in KC's world and following each character in their development.

I'm so looking forward to season 4. August cant come soon enough!

Hello, My name is Michael! I started listening about a week and a half/two weeks ago. I'm 31 and just recently got my first cell phone let alone smartphone. I discovered the pod cast and somehow found the "Were Alive" podcast. I've listened to all 36 episodes in the past two weeks mostly here and there untill last night at work when I went on a marathon of listening. I have to say I never thought I would be this impressed with a podcast but I have to say this is my favorite story. I'm not a huge horror buff like some ppl I've seen on hear. I just kindda get rapped up in all kinds of movies and shows. I wish I could have found out about this podcast sooner, I would have loved to try to apply for one of the voices or something. I'm very bummed out to have read that season 4 will be the last season (I believe I read that somewhere, half out of it now, work 3rd shift). I make dental supplies for dentist, not much to write home about there. I've always wanted to be an actor but never did anything about it. Guess I was raised in the wrong enviroment to believe I could actually make it. I live in central PA and occassonally play battlefield 3 on xbox (gt is killpilla if yah wanna hang out, play or just talk about were alive). I feel so bad for Angel and Kalani and his daughter, and was soo upset when Pegs left Michael. I just find it so depressing its coming to an end and fear one of the main group may die as much as I'm hoping they kill the crap outta the tattooed man and his boyfriends.

Hey Michael, welcome to the addiction!

Sounds like you've gone "All In" on We're Alive with the marathon listening. I know the first time I had to wait for a new episode after listening to an entire season all at once, it was agonizing. But there is some fun stuff and cool people in the forums to help pass the time until season 4 starts.

What happens after that though.....

Hi, I'm Richie. Late 30's and originally from London, now residing in mid-Wales. By trade I'm a comms engineer & manager. Zzzzzzz

Where was i? Oh yeah, I like shooting sports, good film and tv, and walking my dogs.

Stumbled across WA late last year. I'd been communing by car everyday to work and that was my time for listening. I used to be into my comics, still am for a few. Suffice to say after listening to the shows Monday thru Friday for a few weeks playing catchup I had a real 'Death in the Family' moment when Angel bought it.

That, and plenty of other moments show the signs of terrific writing. I'd like to congratulate the crew on the recording, editing and FX. I use to be in post production sound and vision on the technical management side of things and your work has gone from strength to strength.

So, I've just arrived here, and now hear season 4 and its all over? Damn!

I'm David, 27 from Copperas Cove, Texas. I'm a plumber,a/c and refrigeration tech. Also go to school full time as well. I've always loved the zombie genre. I remember being absolutely terrified but intrigued the first time I watched Night of The Living Dead when I was around 7 or so. Ever since then if I hear something has zombies in it I'm a sucker for it. So I'm extremely happy i stumbled on this podcast. i haven't been able to stop listing to it. Sometimes makes for funny moments when i scream at the podcast while I'm at work. Really sad that this is going to be the last season.

Hi Erik! Glad to see you here in the forums. If you enjoyed We're Alive the first time through, you'll probably really like listening a couple of times more. It's amazing what kinds of things you pick up the 2nd (and 3rd and 4th...) time through.

Hey all, I'm Laiq or Tammy from the UK. I was recently introduced to WA by a poster in reddit, who listened to a zombie based running app and they said that if I enjoyed the story lines there, then WA would really appeal, and they weren't wrong! In about 2 weeks I've burnt through most of the episodes and I'm now listening to the "we're not dead" podcast to make the last few episodes last a bit longer!

I'm really enjoying the podcast and looking forward to being able to share new episodes with other listeners and dissecting episodes.

Hey everyone. Just a quick note to say Hi and introduce myself. From Canada, I'm a Professional Chef, husband to the best lady who puts up with my crap, father to a wonderful special needs little boy. Love reading (Stephan King, Lovecraft, A.C Clarke, Heinline...) music (Pink Floyd, Butthole Surfers, P.I.L., 30's and 40's blues), mountain biking on the flat praries (when I get the time), enjoying spending as much time as I can being outside, coffee, beer (Guinness, Sleemans Cream Ale), building with Lego, and as of late pulling dandelions. We have 2 dogs, one being a cockapoo named 'Bob' and a Newfoundlander named 'Opal'. We needed easy names for our son to say. Loving this show and I'm very glad to have found it last week. Finally got through every episode and can't wait for more! Cheers all, your order is up.

Yes, we're forced to learn Quebecois in school. We don't learn Parisian French, which is a shame because it's way more interesting than Quebecois. Thankfully, I've forgotten 99% of what I was taught.

That's so weird. We had mandatory French classes too but it was strictly Parisian (that I can remember anyway). Every time there was a discussion about how to say something in Québécois the teacher would shoot it down, saying, "Learn the proper form first, slang later."

To Yet Another Bloody Cheek:

Merci mon amis! My French is quite basic because, sadly I had learned a ton a couple summers ago but because I didn't have anyone to use it with I lost it! Maybe we can speak in French 'cause I'm sure it'll start coming back to me. :D

Found by searching for stories to listen to on the commute to and from work looking forward to series 4, iv managed to listen to the whole thing in a few weeks. Brilliant, my imagination set racing, I've been doing what I do when I read putting known actors and actresses faces to the voices, mos have voice alike-es. for example, think the french girl Riley sounds like Thadie Newton, Saul sounds a bit like Eminem at times. you see how my imagination works, oh I yeah class acts the lot of you. love what your doing, keep up the good work.

I am slow to listen to more but I will probably catch up to you all in season 3 in a few weeks. Excellent writing and show. I have since notified several of my family and friends that like the zombie genre. I hope they tune in as well. Three seasons is quite a success. Kudos to the whole team.

I am a high school teacher and writer and I live in Texas. I'm hoping that the second job overtakes the first. I like wargaming (Warmachine mainly) and reading dark tales of horror. I don't like talking about myself much but I hope to touch base with y'all now and then.

Hello my name is Patrick. I'm from Iowa. Easiest way to describe what I do is... "I draw pipes for a living". Found out about We're Alive from a friend back in February. I've been hooked since. I believe I've listened to the entirety 6 times now. Definitely excited for season 4 to begin.

Hello I'm Mr. Red Beard. I was introduced to We're Alive I think just before season 2 ended and I've been hooked ever since. I have been reading the threads here for a long time but just haven't ever joined. Just to get it out there I am Mr. Red Beard from the We're Alive Fancast that just recently formed. I look forward to being involved in the conversations here.

Hey guys, I'm Mick.

I live in Internet, Computerland where we have recently achieved mock sovereignty. So, I guess you could say we have that going for us.

No, Seriously though, I'm from Many places like Texas, Arkansas, Florida, North Carolina, and a little time in California. I've got a job that I love to go do (IT) each morning, and a family that I'm even more excited to come home to each afternoon. I played football in HS and joined the Marine Corps after HS because for some reason I thought if I was going to serve my country I wanted to be a part of the elite fighting force that is the USMC. I enjoyed my time and I'm out now.

I love to go camping/hiking with my buddy RedBeard when we get time to get out there a play out in the woods. Many nights after the children are in bed you can find me tearing up some Zombies on XBOX either on Black Ops 2 or State of Decay. Sometimes I throw my gameplay on Youtube to share and talk about it with friends, you can find that here (https://www.youtube.com/mickginger0) if you are interested.

I was looking for podcasts to listen to on iTunes when I think I remember that I searched for Zombies and I saw We're Alive on the screen. We're Alive hadn't been out for long then, and if I remember correctly I started in either the first or second chapter. I can't remember for sure it might have been the third......or somewhere in the first season at least, not that it matters - I just say this to share with the community that I've been a fan of this show for a while.

I showed a couple of my buddies the show and pretty quickly 4 of them latched on and listened, but only 2 really keep up anymore. Redbeard and I have been talking We're alive theories and having nerd joy conversations about the show ever since both of us were able to talk with out spoiling it for the other. Recently, we decided to invite the rest of the community to our conversations with the We're Alive Fan Cast (http://werealive.mickred.com).

This final season has me conflicted, I've grown to really look forward to this show and it's characters. It's been with me since I started listening to podcasts, and it's bittersweet to have the finale approaching. That being said, I'm really excited to hear how KC is going to wrap up this story!

47 year old from New Zealand. Married with 2 monsters... I mean great young pre high school kids:)
I found Were Alive purely by accident while browsing on itunes one day.
Im not too sure what this forum is all about - apart from the obvious audio drama. I was pointed in its direction by a another forums fellow member.
I've always enjoyed most Zombie / Post apocalyptic genre. This podcast makes my long drives more bearable. Great acting and easy to visualize the scenes.
My favorite audio drama by far.
I am also reading and enjoying The Island by Michael Stark, on iPhone. Almost finished now sadly

Edit: I also have 2 bird catchers (cats) the let us live in their house : Jazzy-cat and Fat-Jaxx.

Oh yeah, huge firefly fan!

As for things to do, head on over to the main page and look for the sections called "Episode Discussions", "Theories", and "The Characters". That's where the meat of all the show discussions are (and there are some good ones!). Below those on the main page, you'll find links to other topics, some about the show, some about the Zombie/Post apocalyptic genre, and some completely different non-related topics.

The Wiki (tab up at the very top) has a wealth of info on all things "We're Alive" and is worth checking out.

And if you haven't found the "We're Not Dead" podcast yet, it's worth a listen. Check the main page of zombiepodcast.com to get links to it.

Enjoy the forums!

Glad this zombie story does it for you and glad you found the forums. Don't know if it's the same for you but the other element that draws me in, beyond my love for zombies, is the puzzle aspect, the fact there is so much to figure out. My take on zombies and I'm only saying this because you say you don't typically like zombies is that zombies represent most every type of survival-able disaster you could possibly face rolled into one. So most likely if you can survive zombies you can survive every underlying disaster type.

Hey! Im Phill First time posting, long time listener. I'm pretty sure I started listening some time in 2011 shortly after start of season 1.(might be wrong on the start). But loved the story and characters right off the bat. After each season I would go back and listen again episode after episode, which caused great arguments between the misses and me, ( you know the hole, " how the hell can you be listening to me with those damn earphones in you ear all the time." We'll shortly before start of season 4, I decided to play the start of season 1 on the big stereo wile she was doing some stuff around the house. Honest truth, 2 episodes later she jacked my iPhone and head phones and is blazing through episodes. Thanks We're Alive my house hasn't been so quiet.

I kinda stumbled on this site while looking for zombie stuff. I designed a zombie card game and prior to that was really into zombies. Since designing the game and starting the Kickstarter I've been really digging in and searching for new zombie related stuff to inspire me for new cards and so forth and so I found this site (and from there there facebook page, etc).

Looking forward to immersing myself in this whole thing a bit more!

I'm finishing up Season 2 while I work at my regular daytime gig in a cube farm. It's not that bad, though, I can listen to music, audio books and We're Alive while I keyboard my life away. My coworkers are getting used to me yelling out things like " WHAT??", "GET OUT!!!!", and "Um, KISS him already." ha. ( and most recently when it happened, I said outloud " FINALLY!") Have also managed to get a group of mates as addicted as I am. Not sure what I'll do after this season ends though , probably start from the beginning again ,I'm sure (won't be for the first time).

In the meantime I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Seconding this with one minor change. It's "eh?" not "eh!" The typical use of "eh?" is at the end of a sentence when you're requesting someone's agreement, approval or validation of your statement, thus it must be used in a questioning manner with the vocal inflection raising towards the end. Don’t go confusing our American neighbors and the rest of the world, Alizee! If they’re going to mock us, they at least need to know how to do it properly. ;)

All kidding aside, welcome! :D

Hello folks, I'm Sgt. Draino. I am a Lost super-fan (though not a fan of the way it ended), and also a fan of all things zombie. I have a background in law enforcement, and am presently assigned to Station 7 of the Dharma Initiative. I host a podcast called "Station 7 - The Door," which started off doing Lost back in January of 2010, shortly before Lost Season 6 aired. Since that time we also cover The Walking Dead while it is airing, and during the off-season we do a Lost rewatch project called LOST: The Search For Answers, in which we try to identify all the unsolved mysteries of Lost, what possible answers to each mystery are, and then poll our audience to determine what the most popular answer to each mystery is. We are presently just finishing up Season 4.

I listen to most of The Walking Dead podcasts out there, and found out about We're Alive through one of them (I think it was "The Walking Dead 'Cast.") I've really enjoyed the story (my favorite character is Burt), and have also enjoyed We're Not Dead, with Buttseks McGee and some guy. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

If there are any Lost fans around here interested in weighing in on the mysteries of Lost, please contact me! I'd love to have your views on our show, and to have your votes on the many polls addressing the mysteries.

It's an easy site to navigate....but it's hard not to explore more because I haven't caught up to the current season yet. Plot spoilers are pretty rare here, but I did ruin something for myself in a thread about a character's occupation. I've been doing the responsible newbie thing and staying away from current topics and reading older threads, expecially in the Everything Else section...talk of books, music, art,

Good to meet you too :) You'll enjoy it. I was hooked.

Hi guys...Soooooo let me just say...I loathe audible books/podcasts. They usually suck and I can't past the first 5 mins. Well...Well...Well....if I was rich I swear I would invest a hefty portion of my money into the production company who handles this podcast. THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!!So awesome that I am listening to it from the beginning for a second time (until the new episodes comes out). I literally have missed a few things just in the first 3 chapters that I didn't hear or missed in the beginning. I love reading about Zombies and other things like Vamps etc....but this was a great find on itunes...I have a long commute in the morning and evening and I can't even tell you how this has been a great joy to listen too. It literally has taken me through the emotional changes between the characters and events happening throughout the storyline. Thanks for putting faith back into audible literature again. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!:yay:

I wouldn't say I was big into Zombie stuff before this. I've always liked Zombie films etc but this show has really sparked my interests. I'm so glad I joined in the middle of a season. I would be so annoyed if I listened to all the past episodes and then had to wait to hear more.

Looking forward to talking to all of you.

Hi, I am a 45 year old mom of 3. I am not actually a Zombie fan. I found this podcast when I was searching my library web page for an audiobook. I read that it was a radio drama and this sparked my interest. I enjoyed listening to old time radio dramas with my dad while growing up. The complete first season was available to borrow through Overdrive, so I gave it a listen. I was hooked.

I wanted to share that your story is reaching beyond the normal Zombie fan range. I joined the forum while looking for more episodes. I will be returning to download episodes until the story is complete. I may not post again because I rarely spend time on forums, but keep up the good work! Thank you

Hi! My name is Bryan, or you can call me Angus or my username, whatever works for you. I live in Carlisle, AR and now am currently unemployed T-T. I love horror, gore, table top games, and writing. I aspire to have my own estate one day and be able to be self sufficient but that doesn't seem to be for awhile. I broke the family tradition of military enlistment by not joining for the first time in 5 generations. Haha, I've got cousins and relatives in EVERY branch from reserves to full enlistment. I found this place by way of Google. If I am to be honest, I was searching to see if there were any zombie based podcast out there because I didn't want to infringe on anyone's idea with my own. But I have listened to the first 2 parts now and I think it's gonna be a lil while longer before I get back on track XD.

Hey, folks. Totally new to the forum. I plowed through the whole series in about a week after finding out about it through Nerdist. Now I'm making my way through We're Not Dead (finished the first 8 episodes so far). :)

After being able to start another episode right after finishing one, waiting for the next one to be released is painful. It's even worse when it's a short teaser episode like 38-2. I know the story is more about the living than the living dead, but episodes like this remind of the derisive nickname for the Walking Dead - the Talking Dead. ;)

ADDENDUM: I see that most post has been moved to a more appropriate place. Sorry for mucking up the boards. Newbie mistake.

I also note that the posts that precede mine in its new place include some personal details that I completely omitted. So, to correct that: I'm a 36yo husband and father of 3, a boy aged 5, a boy almost 4, and a girl 2.5. I very recently earned a PhD in intelligent systems. That should cover the basics. :)

What's goin on everyone? I'm Shaggers, been listening for a few months after a friend recommended me knowing I'm an avid zombie fan. I ripped through the first two seasons pretty fast, then realized I should slow it down to try to acclimate myself for when I catch up. Right now I'm on chpt. 32. I've also been listening to the We're Not Dead podcast to try to slow my pace down even more. But yeah...best damn podcast I've ever listened to.

So HI! I'm Mallory, from Louisiana! I work in the medical billing field, currently working on trying to find a better job over in Houston, Texas. I listen to podcasts all day, and as you can tell by my nickname everywhere (Podcastitute) I am a big podcast promoter too. I also do my own podcast about gaming and nerdy things. I am a big xbox gamer and slowly getting back into PC gaming. I prefer RPG games but I will pick up an FPS or two along the way. I'm not really good at this whole "talkin about yourself" stuff, so I'll spare y'all the pain of me stumbling through all this. I'm glad I finally got off my anti-social behind and jumped on here. :)

I've been posting on here for a little while now so I guess I better introduce myself now haha

My name is Greg and I currently reside in Utah just outside of Salt Lake City. I have been many places though, born in Great Lakes, IL; grew up in Laguna Hills, CA (not too far from where the show takes place which is cool because I know some of the areas they talk about; lived in Mexico for a few years, Utah for a few years, Idaho for a few years, and now back to Utah again. Who knows where is next? :-)

I have been listening to the show since near the end of season 3. My brother told me about the show and I was a little skeptical at first but I think by the end of the 2nd or 3rd episode I was hooked.

I am a firearms enthusiast, an Eagle Scout, interested in anything to do with survivalism and self reliance, and just now getting introduced to the whole zombie culture.

I am very analytical and tear apart movies and stories like crazy so this forum is awesome for sharing thoughts on the episodes.

Last thought, I LOVE THE SHOW and look forward to it every week!!

I used to live in Idaho before Utah, pretty much all of the mountain states are one big playground for the outdoor enthusiast. I love taking the family hiking and camping. Plenty of places to fish and hunt. Rafting, snowboarding, backpacking, climbing, there is a bit of everything for sure.

I am not a drinker myself but the craft beer is a pretty big deal for sure (though I think it was even bigger in Boise, ID. I have a few friends who brew up there).

What took you to SC?

Haven't spent much time in ID but had some coworkers at another job who went there regularly to work with clients. They loved it except for when it was deep winter time....

My name is James. I found 'We're Alive' through another podcast. I heard the host of the other podcast mention how awesome it was and later decided to check it out. That was two months ago. Before that, I had never heard of the show. I absolutely love it.

Now, about me. I'm 41 and have lived in the Charlotte area for about eight years. I'm originally from a small steel town in Ohio that sits along the Ohio river. Yes, and it is a weird town, but not as weird as 'Hemlock Grove,' but similar.:) For those of you who don't know, 'Hemlock Grove' is an Eli Roth/Netflix production and is worth checking out. I currently work in a dungeon underneath the west end of the city. That's all I can really say about that, but hey, the pay is decent and so are the benefits. Its a job. Anyway, I'm a huge horror fan, but I'm also a huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy. But since this forum is about 'We're Alive,' I will stick with horror.

I've been a horror fan ever since I saw Vincent Price in 'House of Wax' on late night television at the age of five. I will admit, I've seen quite a bit of horror films through the years, from the worst B films to the top premium horror and everything in between. And with the advent of Netflix, I'm still getting caught up. I will say that throughout the 80s, I saw most of the major horror films either in the cinema or when they first hit VHS.

I was introduced to my first zombie film in 1984. My brother-in-law rented George A. Romero's 'Dawn of the Dead.' I was twelve and it scared the crap out of me, but I loved it and couldn't stop watching. I'd never seen gore like that in a film until then. That one hooked me, and got me interested in the zombie genre. Later that year, I went with my oldest brother and saw 'Return of the Living Dead' at the theater. Again, that one scared the crap out of me, but I kept going back for more. It was then, I knew how much of a dedicated zombie horror fan I was. I couldn't get enough zombie films. I had become part of the 'Romero' zombie culture when it began its ascent to popularity throughout the eighties and beyond.

Now, the current era blows my mind. I never thought the zombie culture would be so huge. I think its great! Some of the zombie/Romero purists hate it, but I think its awesome. I love 'The Walking Dead' and think its still one of the best shows on television. Who would have ever thought a zombie show would be so monumental?

Now, that brings me to 'We're Alive.' I can't say enough about how awesome this show is. And hey, it started before 'The Walking Dead.' Hence, another reason 'We're Alive' blew me away. I love its originality, concepts, writing, actors, and everything else in between. There are ideas and concepts brought to light in the show that are such a cool departure from the typical zombie film or series. This show and others like it (and I mean audio dramas) are cool because they hearken back to the days of the old radio shows of my grandparents' and great grandparents' era. Its great that we can bring that form of entertain back through a new medium. Look, I could go on and on. My point is, is that I'm thrilled to be here, and I can't get enough of the show. Great job guys!!

By the way, I think it gives some competition to 'The Walking Dead.' Does anyone agree? Also, has there been any talk about it being made into a television production? I think it would be a great show. Just curious.

I've said my piece and look forward to being part of this community.

Found you at our online public library. thought it was just an audiobook. WOW! what a pleasant surprise. This is awesome! better than WATCHING the walking dead! Everytime I think you're about to go down the same crappy road as some of my favorite sci-fi TV shows, you fix what I'm about to complain about. Sooooo many times great shows get away from their good story lines and turn it into "as the world turns" or "here's the writers political agenda" but not you guys. Just when I'm thinking or rather beginning to think I'm sick of one or another character's love life and personal problems ...BAM more action. Great stuff guys!
although I am tired of that little beyatch scratch not getting her come uppance...LOL. Best stuff on the air, video or radio. And to think I thought the zombie thing had been done to death. I was wrong wrong wrong. Love the new guy Puck! reminds me of a character from the BIG RED ONE movie. Yeah I'm 53. The leg thing with CJ put me off a little tho that's just my own squeamishness and was hoping her character would go the way of bad ass asian beeyatch. Just the right mix of character development and sci-fi action along with some sci-fi mystery. Although for awhile I thought they were missing the obvious that someone was making the zombie/monsters. The numbers on the little ones was a dead give away. Just don't make the LOST mistake and never explain crap. WOW what a disappointment that show was. I know i keep comparing you to video but there is just nothing else in audio that comes close to something this good. I think this is better than TV, WAY better.
Having said all that I have one major complaint....I listened to the first 3 seasons in about 5 days now I have to wait for every week...LOL. Do you guys know my sister? I think she paid you to get even with me for watching all of 24 on disk in about 3 weeks after she spent years going week to week hehehe. Thanks for the best entertainment I've had in years. I'd tell you who my favorite characters are but I can't decide, love them all (except scratch...LOL, great character but we're supposed to hate her.

I'm just about done with chapter 32 of the podcast ... Really enjoying it as those that run the twitter account can probably attest to with me bugging/praising them all of the time !

Just thought I'd follow the advice of the end of each episode and swing by here to discuss characters/plots with y'all. Hope I've not rambled too much, but I didn't want to head into the threads without introducing myself !

Hey everyone, my name is David and last week I "discovered" We're Alive. A friend of mine mentioned it when I asked her about interesting podcasts and I am so glad she did. Never before have I been so engrossed in a piece of fiction, and the take on zombies is such a breath of fresh air. I feel scared again when thinking of them. This show is truly unique and wonderful and mysterious.

I have lurked about the forums and LOVE reading everyone's theories. It took all of my willpower not to browse the forums before catching up but I finally did. So many interesting ideas here and everyone seems so friendly and willing to discuss. Thanks for this!

Hi! I'm Jen. New to the forum and the We're Not Dead podcast, but a long time listener to We're Alive. I am reading through a bunch of threads and have an idea i want to share, just looking for the right place to post! I'd hate to repost an idea someone has already mentioned! That seems like it would be a rookie mistake :)

My favorite We're Alive characters are Burt and Saul. I would be happy to team up with either of them in a zombie apocalypse because they are both tough but offer a bit of comic relief. Least favorite characters have been Kelly, Pegs, and Hope. Currently Hope is holding the #1 least favorite spot until she can stop whining a bit and do something useful :)

Oh hey! I just noticed that I levelled up to "Fresh Meat" status, but that I never actually introduced myself. So...hi! I found We're Alive via the IGN podcast (or maybe IGN UK podcast?), where one of the presenters described it very simply but engagingly. I jumped straight in, and at that point I think it was part-way through season 2. I was instantly hooked, and was caught up within a few days. I'm a gamer and a sci-fi fan, and love a good zombie movie, so We're Alive was (and is) perfect for me.

In the real world, I'm a medical information scientist, specialising in medicines information, particularly new drugs. That makes the recent stuff at Radon labs...fascinating.now I'm stuck in a weird limbo of being desperate to know how the story turns out, and being desperate for it not to be over - I'll be so sad when it's done!

Ahoy-hoy all,

My name is Kent and I hail from the great white north of Ontario, Canada.
If you don't know about Canada this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mL7n5mEmXJo)about sums it up. Now that we got that out of the way, on to some more serious business.

At my last job I had an hour commute so to pass the time I began listening to some podcasts. After subscribing to a few different ones I started hearing about We're Alive. Around this time I had a colleague who was really into Zombies, so we would discuss it on a regular basis at work. He was really excited about The Walking Dead graphic novel being turned into a TV show and he started showing me some of the graphic novels (he keeps his set up to date). Then one night I had a zombie nightmare, it was way too real, I woke up out of breath and sweating.

So I swore off The Walking Dead and We're Alive. The last thing I wanted was to watch a zombie show right before bed, and I am a big believer in the saying that “the pictures are better on the radio” so We're Alive was out of the question. I heard the conversation that Kc, Blaire, and Greyson others did with Christoph Laputka and Nobi from The Leviathan Chronicles (http://www.leviathanchronicles.com/) and that got me excited for the show, but I was still to afraid. Finally I was listening to either Radio Drama Revival (www.radiodramarevival.com), or The Sonic Society (http://sonicsociety.org/) and they played Chapter 25-1. I though "okay I'll give it a try", and I was hooked.

I quickly shotgunned the series from the beginning and haven't looked back. The quality of the show from top to bottom is top notch, and the interaction of Kc, and the rest of the staff, actors, and everyone with the community is unbelievable. I've recently started listening to the We're Not Dead podcast, and decided to get on the forum as well.

So that's my story and I'm sticking to it...

Hope all is going well in the colonies, found the podcast on iTunes a couple of weeks ago and just got up to date, just downloading the latest episode as I type....

As you can see I'm from the UK , about 5mins drive from Stonehenge ......

What always strikes me is how well the US can cope with a zombie outbreak, as you naturally have a lots of guns and stuff kicking about ...... Sporting goods stores , armed police etc......

Don't think most of us in England would last 5minutes ..... We could shout some harsh words......:o

Anyway really enjoying the show :)

Take care
Jim

Hey everyone.
Been listening for about six months now (2.5X through), creeping on the forums for about a months or so. My name is Matt, I'm 29 and stationed in Virginia. Love the characters, actors, writing, music, it's an all around knock out! Makes driving and cleaning the house almost enjoyable!

Guess i better do this, since i haven't and i've been here a bit!

Hey guys, my name is Gabi (i am a boy before you start....), aged 18 as of now, and living in England! (woo...) I am pretty much the average gamer and techie, spending most of my time on my laptop when i get bored from real life...
I first found this podcast on iTunes in the middle of February 2013 while doing A2 level coursework for school (fun times) and i instantly fell in love with the series (think i listened to it around 8/9 times in 4 months....yea....)

What do i love the most about We're Alive? The fact that it's got such top quality too it, and it's produced pretty damn professionally. I also love the story and characters (a little too much; i nearly shed a tear when Lizzy was kidnapped....) and keep wanting to hear more after each episode.

Hello everyone! My name's Joey, I'm 33y/o and I currently live in Cleveland, Ohio with my wife, my four month baby and two boxer dogs. I was introduced to WA via buzzfeed and just listened to the very first episode and its great. I consider myself a writer, currently reworking a short screenplay, and this podcast will be a nice escape from everyday life and my own writing ideas.

It doesn't matter who I say I am because I may be lying. I might be some 38 year old man who hides children in his basements and breeds with them. But, to make me feel better, my name is Nacole. I'm 17, and I'm not a child molester.:zombie:

I cannot believe how amazing the content and how has turned out and hope to see it in other mediums someday. I look forward to getting to know the community and putting up some theories and crackpot schemes!

Hello my name is Nyssa and I found this charming podcast thanks to the Sonic Society when they replayed the first two parts of chapter 10. This was about a month ago and I have been listening to a chapter a night until this week I just did all of the released season 4 episodes in one go. I live in the wild roses of Alberta, in a somewhat missed name Grande Prairie. I tend to babble and make bad puns. WA Helps me get through the mindless music while I do my stocking. Thank you for making this audio drama and keeping me safe from the bad music at work.

Hello everyone! I am Sin Angel... well at least my artist signature is, and I go by it as my gamer name and such, though people usually just shorten it up to Sin. So, y'all can just call me Sin. I currently have no job, but I have almost always been obsessed with zombies and the like. The last time I had a nightmare was at the age of 8 to the movie When Darkness Falls, which was about the tooth fairy. My friend, well one of them decided to mention the name of this thing to me and before I knew it, I was hooked. I'm not very far, but I'll be caught up in no time... At least I hope so. I'm an avid RPer, and I love it! I tend to write fanfics, though I never finish the ones that aren't one shots... I would love to RP this story idea though.

Hello everyone, just introducing myself here. My name is Chris, and I currently live in South Dakota, great place for the eventual Zombie Apocalypse unless bison become bitters too. Anyway, I first found We're Alive by accident back when season 1 was nearly complete. It was the first audio drama I had ever listed to, and I loved every minute of it. Shortly after I finished listening to all the available episodes my ipod blew up, lesson learned; never leave your ipod plugged into your car while you jump it's dead battery :(. To be honest, I kind of forgot about we're alive after that. A few months ago I got a new phone and began listening to books again through audible, one evening out of the blue I thought to myself "I wonder if the one audio show is still being made?".

Sure enough, I found this fantastic show has been growing strong all along. Naturally, I had to go back and listen all I had previously listened to before to refresh. I'm completely caught up now, and salivating for more. My wife asked me what I was smiling about one night when I listening to the show, I told her she would need to experience it to fully appreciate it. So now, we are listening to a couple episodes a night before bed....she is also in love with the show.

You guys/gals are great, the acting is wonderful, the story is amazing, the production top notch. I can't say enough about this show, keep up the GREAT work. I've got a few theories about the show, particularly about the baby, perhaps I'll share them in the theory section of the forum (I do think he is Saul's BTW). It's cool to have a place to chat with other people who enjoy the show, I'll be talking with you folks later.
