Blackburne Family Overview

Role: The Blackburnes are one of the original founding families and are considered Oliver's household. They operate "in the shadows," relying on anonymity to get into places others cannot. Their specialty is acquiring information that is not meant to be known. Vera summarizes their function as being "Spies and thieves".


Traits: They are described as adaptable, disciplined, self-reliant, committed, and observant. Angel Tunudo Sr. also refers to them as "cocky".

Historical Role: The household's traditions were established by their founder, Mary-Beth Blackburne. She was a member of George Washington's "Culper Ring" of spies during the Revolutionary War and was never discovered. She was responsible for bringing the original four families together and teaching them covert methods.

Mary-Beth Blackburne: One of the four original founders of the families. She was a spy for George Washington and was instrumental in uniting the families.


Oliver Blackburne: The current patriarch of all the families. Before this role, he was an enforcer and then became the head of the Blackburne household. He is Vera's father. Went by an alias "Je



Vera Jiang: Daughter of Oliver Blackburne and CJ. As a "bloodborne" member who has not yet earned her ring, she is considered next in line to lead the family after her father.


Durai "Fingers" Blackburne IV: Her real name is Durai Blackburne, and she is the fourth in her lineage with that name. She is the only one left in her direct line and is 3rd cousins with Vera.


Durai Blackburne (Fingers's Father): He was murdered by Claire Amsel (alias: Scratch) around the same time as Angel Tunudo Jr..

Lawrence, Stanley, and Sarah Blackburne: Ancestors of Oliver and Vera, listed in the family tree book as grandparents and great-grandparents.
