Background

• Born July 22, 1989. A devoted follower of Ink and partially responsible for Coal's release.
  
• Possesses a rare and dangerous understanding of the infected -- through his knowledge of their markings, he can exert a limited form of control over them, not through power but through recognition and pattern. He does not command them like a king; he navigates them like a scholar who has read the wrong scripture too closely.
  

Personality

• Intelligent but dangerously gullible -- his mind works quickly while his judgment lags behind. He believes deeply, and that belief makes him vulnerable. Misguided, paranoid, and ungrounded, living in a fractured reality shaped more by faith than fact.
  
• Not clearly evil, but broken -- his actions come from a desperation to belong to something larger than himself. Ink gives him purpose, identity, and cosmic importance the real world never did, and in that devotion he mistakes obedience for righteousness and sacrifice for destiny.
  
• Believes he is helping usher in Ink's "second coming," preparing the world for salvation -- a distorted mirror of Tanya's beliefs, warped by fear, reverence, and his own fragile psychology. Where Tanya sees transformation, Alvin sees destiny.
