You could create a very good story in any genre using any mixture of elements that you've used in We're Alive. My question is, on what genres are you interested or plan to work? Sci-fi, Mobster/Crime/Heist, Romance, Drama, Intrigue, Feel Good, Comedy, Military...?

Also, is there an optimum EQ setting for listenning to the podcast?

    Thanks A LOT!!!
EQ setting? Naw. Just what it should be raw and not adjusted. I mix on my KRK's at certain DB, so what I get there isn't adjusted.

Other genres? I like to play in the area of fiction, but still dance in the shadow of science. If other words, sci-fi that can be true, if only given the perfect conditions.

And I have others that are just not even close to that. But those are more weird abstract stories that aren't so much stories as just fragments.

On the AMA you said that each of your characters have something of you in them, even Scratch.
Can you tell us what you have in common with Scratch?
All of us have dark sides that have certain checks and balances. Scratch is that check removed that I tend to empty a lot of raw rationalized anger. There's a lot of subtext behind some of the things she says. And of course, only a fraction of that is myself. There's a lot that is Scratch, herself.

I'm finding my self very drawn to her pain and rage. Maybe not her expression of it but I feel that she is so identifiable and everyone of us secretly wants to do to the people that piss us off what scratch does to hers

On facebook you have an interesting picture about Burt and Scratch. Is this a foretelling ... ?
    Zombie Story:
    - raises the acceptance of killing humans in huge numbers,
    - reveals everything bad and and even worse about human behaviour and psychology,
    - is fun.

No. The photoshoot didn't really have anything to do with the storyline, but we do some "re-enactments" for promo purposes.

Thank you. I like that. The picture is kind of ... threatening ... and very well done.

Ya know KC if you dont make something more out of WA that you're going to have a lot of people pissed at you. We've(I) have become so engrossed with the story, the characters, and the absolutely marvelous people that we know as the voices of those characters that for one, is going to be difficult to say good bye to when the story comes to an end, and two, is going to be very hard to see done without those same voices we have been hearing for a few years now. I have in my head every inflection and tonal character in my mind with this story that to hear anyone else repeat those same lines would just not be right. So a huge shout out to you for finding the right folks and for every player in this story for doing such a professional job.
My question i suppose is this, which may not be so much of a question....by the time this story has come to an end, you better follow up with something congruent or stand alone i dont care, just dont leave us hanging okay? I have a question mark there so its a question. Much love and thanks.

I'm sorry this is my first post and I haven't read many of the threads but I have searched and this hasn't been mentioned as far as I can tell. Have you (KC) given any thought to attending the Long Beach Comic and Horror Con? in any capacity? I'm currently all caught up with all of the series and catching up quickly on We're Not Dead. As you can guess I'm loving the series. Thanks.

I actually have not considered the Long Beach Comic and Horror con. Hmmm... It's probably too late to actually have a panel or something. Unless you know someone?

Albuquerque has their own small comic con if you ever wanted to look into it. It started about two years ago and is held in June. Here's the address: http://www.nmtricon.com/. It's still pretty small potatoes...
