I dont know why people are putting the WA tower on a pedestal.

Michael's Tower: The group bonded together, sacrificing themselves and cooperating in order to keep the family alive and together.

Look up dysfunctional in the post apocalyptic zombie dictionary and it will have a picture of the WA tower. By family you probably are thinking of just the main cast right. The WA tower had defectors too, I think 2 of them, under Burts watch. Did anyone care? Did they have a memorial on the roof like before? Nope.

CJ's Tower: The 'assembled individuals' splintered, each cutting and running to save his/her own ass, and were destroyed as a result.

Why does everyone forget about Burt abandoning the tower and the person that saved his life (twice) and kicking out LIzzy. I think Burt is part Teflon. Blame doesn't stick to him. CJ's had a group of trusted people. Randy, Sean, The leader of the second convoy, and maybe the person in charge of the gardens. Michael only trusted Saul and Angel (barely). The survivors of CJ's tower also sacrificed themselves trying to save Samantha. From what we know about Samantha, all she did was do the laundry, nothing important like fixing generators or helicopters. Michael left a dude locked in his room while the tower came down.
