Sad to say, in Mr. Gleason's own words, he wouldn't be suited visually for the role. You could of course edit the details to suit the appearances of the original cast, but if it were to be made into a TV show, a movie, or basically anything but an animated series/movie backed by any major producing company you'd probably be forced to recast. And most likely be forced to cast a name....

...Odds are Johnny Depp would end up playing Michael....he's in everything these days...

That would b a bit odd
Im not much of a fan of Depp (he can b a great actor but all his roles blur into one 4 me)
I would love 2 c it as an animation either realistic or not.
