Just stay home.
Consider heading to Tracy, CA. It's a small city in the California Central Valley whose main claim to fame is that it's really centrally located with great freeway access. Just outside of town there is a complex of regional distribution warehouses that supply most of the retail chains in California (the Costco distribution center is one of the smaller ones there). It's isolated, surrounded by high fences, and also surrounded by water. And there's a Department of Defense Supply Depot just down the road. If you can ride out the first wave there you should be well stocked for the future.

Doctor? Doctor who?
NO! Witch Doctor, fool!
Two things: First, get to Atlanta to get my daughter. Then I'll probably head to Grand Rapids to hang out with The Geek Group. Can't think of a better group of people that would be able to preserve the technology of the modern world.
