So she had to have some emotionally and romantically sweet moments with someone up until then. There is not a single sign that Lizzy hooked up with someone else but Saul. So it is him.
Also: Lizzy stated it the way. She is not the type telling lies or avoiding conflict by expressing something wrong. Why should or would she lie about the real father?
