I think. Her bandage wrapped arm. Her response to Michael's inquiry rang untrue. And what was the deal with Marcus' immune dogs? I don't remember hearing animals getting zombiefied in WA.

1. Maybe Tanya does have a bite but to be honest i am questioning if Saul and his family are immune to the zombie "disease" for whatever reason. Just throwing that out there because he had zombie blood inside his system and so far he seems like he has any other sickness and is alright.
2. True animals haven't exactly been addressed in WA but who knows maybe they are immune and are just dying off due to lack of food or poisoned food. I could see why Kc might leave zombiefied animals out of the story. They would be extremely difficult to deal with. A zombiefied bird might be able to bite 2-3 people before you kill it and a zombie dog could probably tear a person apart by itself. You have brought up and interesting point..... maybe it will be a part of the series soon...
