We're Alive
A drinking game based on a story of survival...


Edition 1.


Part one of three - PREPARATION:

1. Pick a random chapter. During this session, you'll listen this chapter's parts.
2. Decide an order. For example, let turns pass clockwise trough the group. Decide who'll start the game (or in other words, who's player one).
3. Make sure everyone has their glasses ready.
4. Player one starts the show when he or she's ready.

Part two of three - RULES

• Below is a set of events.
  If an event occurs during the show, the player will have to execute the task described below the event.
• Once an event has occurred, the next player's turn starts (unless task states otherwise).

1. Any time one or more zombies die.
   Cheer together with all other players.
   Players who fail: 1 shot.
2. All curse words must be repeated by all listeners very loudly within 3 seconds.
   Players who fail: 1 shot.
3. If someone in the tower dies.
   Everyone takes a shot.
4. If someone says, "Sorry."
   Take a shot, then choose someone to join you with your second one.
5. If someone says, "Maybe."
   Take a shot, together with either the player before or after you (your choice).
6. If someone says "Mostly."
   Take two shots.
7. If someone says anything similar to "Maybe they'll go away..."
   Turns will now pass in the opposite direction.
8. If Micheal gets mad and blows up on someone.
   Choose someone else to take a shot.
9. If Pegs whines.
   Take a shot.
10. If two characters kiss.
    Take a body-shot with a player of your choice.
11. If you're listening to season 1: If Datu says something "could work."
    Take a shot.
12. If you're listening to season 2: If Datu says something "won't work."
    Take a shot.
13. If Burt talks about Shirley.
    Free pass to skip your next shot. Optional use, but can not be saved. Not using the pass removes your right ever to refuse a shot again.
14. If Angel makes a failed attempt at hitting on Riley.
    Take a shot.
15. If a player, for whatever reason, quits prematurely.
    Proceed as if a resident of the Tower died.

Part three of three - BONUS.
These are optional changes to the rules, for some added variation.

• For additional replay value, you can replace events or their accompanying tasks.
• Play the game with Whiskey or other 40%+ liquor.
• Instead of taking shots, you can allow someone to take a full drink glass of beer or whine.

• In addition to event one's task: You can allow players to make war cries (I.e. "Kill those bastards!", "And another one bites the dust!", ... ) when a zombie dies. If a player makes a war cry, this forces all others to take a drink. However, if two or more people make a war cry, they have to drink twice while the others do not have to.
