My Name is Lee im from Flint, Mi. I have been a loving zombie survival stories since i was 10. They scared me as a kid but when i got older i wanted to put myself in those situations, you know...the Human factor. Ive thought of all the situations..last stands, saving people, love and all of them im never alone.
Im a landscaper by trade. I love to come home from a long day of work and put on my favorite Podcast, We're Alive.
I drive a beat up 1992 dodge ram, and make a living..well sort of. I think if you really want to know humanity, you take away the convience of this day and age, you take 80% of the population and turn them into zombies and you watch all the ways people act, for good or bad. It really brings out your Inner zombie survivor, as I call it. Well Im glad to say ive found a place here with like minded people to share ideas of the show, thoery and favorite characters...My favorite is Angel. Kinda fits my personality. Thanks
*Update* I'm moving to San Bernidino, Ca This fall. I have a sister who lives close to L.A. Me and My sister have never met, same father different mother. Its Interesting that She lives close to the area where the Story takes place....:). Atleast if the zombie APoc happens Ill have an idea of road names due to me listening to the show...lol
Hey everyone, my names robert. I'm from belleville, Illinois. I found we're alive through blackberry podcasts right after season 2 ended. In the long strech I listened to both seasons at least 4 times before season 3 started up. Once I started hearing about we're not dead, I got caught up on the podcast about a podcast. I'm glad I found a place that I can discuss my theories with others! I now have my fiancé hooked and are in the process of getting her caught up. Thanks!
Hi, I'm Peter from Liverpool, love the zombies!
Hi Everyone
Ash from the UK, just stumbled across Were Alive looking for a Podcast to listen too on my commute to work one morning, loved it from the start. Then over the last 3 weeks or so have listened to every cast to catch up! The finale of series 2 was fantastic.
Ever since i watched the original Dawn of the Dead far too young I've been a fan of the genre and as I've got older my plans for the day they come have become more detailed. So jealous of the Zombie scene in the US its much more fun.
Anyway everyone welcome to say to me and keep safe everyone! If in doubt just run!....
Soo, My name is Kendra. I'm in college. I actually found We're alive after listening to a bit from it on the Z-cast podcast. This is the first forum I think I've ever joined and actually participated in, because I am not a big forum person. I joined the forum because of We're not dead. I actually gravitated to zombies in the last few years because I learned pretty much as much as I could about Vampires and the lore and such and I just started to get interested in Zombies. I have a small zombie contingency plan, but its not very effective currently. I'm also a bit of a renaissance festival nerd. Also, I watch a lot of TV.
How do just a short introduction I found the show and listened to all the episodes in 6 days..
Awesome stuff .. Oh live in Germany in Munich.. great show.
Hey everyone. I found "We're Alive" as a recommendation from Stitcher Radio since I've been listening to podcasts of "HG World." I love this show and have been devouring the past episodes while doing paperwork. Makes the day go quickly.
Hello to all glad to be here. I found "we're alive" by Googling "zombies and podcast." Boom next thing I know I listened to the entire season in three days!
Hello all. I'm another Canadian fan. I've been listening to We're Alive since April or May 2010. I learned about it through my love of audio/radio drama.
I first started listening to radio shows around 2005, when I heard The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That led me to discover the BBC iPlayer, and also a late-night OTR show on a local radio station. I listened to BBC comedy and drama, and OTR for the next few years. In early 2010 I discovered Decoder Ring Theatre, from sffaudio.com. DRT introduced me to audio drama podcasts, and led me to the audiodramatalk.com forum. I heard good things about WA there, and I decided to give it a try.
I have a pretty weak stomach when it comes to blood and gore in movies, so for me, audio is the perfect way to experience a zombie story. I can actually enjoy the suspense, and not feel ill.
Hi everyone !
I'm another fan from Canada. :-) I happened to stumble across "We're Alive" on iTunes. I was looking for something to fill the void after I finished watching the season 2 finale of The Walking Dead, and I had already caught up on all of its' related podcasts on iTunes. I listened to the podcasts on my daily 2 hour commute to & from work, and burned through the 29 chapters in around 2 weeks time, spending some extra time in the evenings, since I couldn't put the story down to rest for very long. Thanks so very much to KC and your crew for putting this story together and sharing it with all of us !!
I am *extremely* impressed with the story, production, actors, sound effects and anything else I might have missed about We're Alive ! It is a professional quality collection of work. Now, I'm getting caught up on all of the "We're Not Dead" podcast podcasts, and enjoying them equally.
Welcome, Zombiescout. I got into WA for the same reasons. My two hour round trip to and from work was made a lot easier with WA. Thank the internet gods for iTunes and podcasts.
Hello everyone.
I am new here and I just want to introduce myself a little bit.
My name is Belly you can call me Bell from CA, age 22.
Hello haha Well my name is Bradley Nelson and I am 21 years old. I currently live In Tulsa, Oklahoma. Though I don't really live anywhere (I lost my apt when Borders filled chapter 13 and I lost my Job) I had moved back In with my mom. I just got back from Asia where I spent aug. to Jan. living with my father. Now I'm just on a road trip out visiting family members and seeing the sights.
I've been into zombies since I watched the new dawn of the dead. Haha It was the first ever zombie movie I watched and I had watched It with my father. Scared the crap out of me so I watched it over and over until I had memorized all the lines. I then listened to the commentary and fell in love with it. It is now my favorite film! partly for the memorize with my father and partly because ITS AMAZING! haha. If you havnt listened to the commentary do so!
I had found we're alive sortly after season 2 had just started I believe or just before. I had just got my Iphone and was messing around with it I didn't even know what a podcast was until I stumbled into the area. I downloaded a few then looked through the zombie section and down loaded like 3 or 4. I was sitting at my friends house and we where all just talking so I listened to a few minutes of it and turned it off. I thought the format was cool as I used to listen to the old superman radio drama with my grandfather on an old radio station that would play it from time to time. I was hooked a few days after when I had picked it back up to listen. I burned through the first season pretty much all In one sitting and the one or two ep. of season 2. since then I haven't been able to follow it ep. by ep. because I keep moving to places that dont have internet like Abu Dhabi, and up in the mountains in arkansas. so I normally get to listen to a full season at a time and waiting for each episode of season 3 is killing me! haha. welp thats my story.
Morning All,
This is a new outpost in The UK reporting in.
I'm James, working for a year after university before Law School. We're alive is an excellent tonic for the commuter traffic in the mornings. Mostly running round on battlefield 3 in the evenings if I'm not out on one sports pitch or another.
good luck out there!
Cunning Plan
It's all good, after the first 24 hours it's open season. *racks shotgun slide*
Perfect.
I am G, an Irish man living in America. My wife is American and we moved to the states for front row seats in time for the end of days in '99. Boy what a disappointment New Years was as we rang in 2000. Nothing happened. There had been so much hype it sounded like it could be fun. Ah well.
I have travelled a lot around Europe and somewhat around America for work. I have 7 kids, 6 boys and 1 girl. My boys are all Zombie aware and my daughter has tea parties with Zombies who appear to have eaten her grand parents. My eldest son is currently reading Max Brooks Zombie Survival Guide. Brings a tear to your eye really.
I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead (Comic & TV) think there has been some great writing in the comic and moments in the TV series where they must have brought on some new writers who in turn labotomized the main characters. We can chat about that later. Love the Romero movies, I mean who doesn't?? Right?
I was told about We're Alive by a really good friend and have been hooked ever since. Have to say it has gotten better as the characters have developed and think the best is yet to come somehow! Otherwise I am an open book, so say hi and ask away!
