Congratulations on your appearance on the podcast! I would never have guessed that you were a fan doing a walk-on. If this whole doctor thing doesn't work out maybe you should try your hand at voice acting!

Funny you mention that. My friends and I were discussing it just last night. I am of the opinion that these creatures aren't technically zombies, atleast not the kind where they seem to live on despite being severed in half or missing all their internal organs save for the brain. These creatures are more like infected people. I've not heard of a reanimated corpse on this show yet either. They eat, they die from various methods (that is to say they don't have to be killed with a gun shot to the head), and so I think they are alive, like the title of the show says.
Which brings up the intereasting point if what that means to the smart ones. Or regarding zombie cooperation. Its shown that some did have a degree of intelligence. So.... what happens to the brain to keep intelligence, but alter motivation so drasticly?
My buddy found this online and I thought it was very appropriate for the episode.

R.I.P Angel Tenudo. :'(
Well with the independent biters, or even jumpers and behemoths, rabies can mess you up! They don't show much reasoning or though capability beyond instinct, and they could have been reduced to mindless rage monsters. The squicky part comes along when they start working towards a goal. How efficient is their communication? Do they think?
We know the smart ones can think, and likley have some memory of past life, so... why are they helping thw zombies.
The mire I think about it, the more the ant correlary makes... a lot if sense..... hmmmmn...
Another great episode Kc!
I like the narrative and how Angel died. If every character got a big send off the story would not be enjoyable.
Maybe the slow turner had half immunity through father or mother b/c of the gene everyone thinks Tanya has...
I think she is emotionally imbalanced and is trying to find someone to fill the void of her dead brother. Was she being nice for the sake of being nice or to get the information... I would like to think the latter.
Remember the explosion in the first chapter...and now the crack ground located at "ground zero"...I'm guessing secret underground experiments....or some other underground occurance, natural yet never before experienced, or other...happened globally...just some thoughts.
