Would CJ ever think of shutting down or checking on other possible sites that could cause major natural disasters? She did think about the basics. Water and such, but what about wild fires?

I think she would focus on her sector of fire, so to speak. If it's close enough to have an issue, like san-onofre , she might have checked it out at some point. Some brave men and women died to shut down that reactor, though.
I would expect that the Smart Ones and radiation/contaminated zombies would be incredibly dangerous. But no where near as dangerous as the San Diego Comic Con Hive.
I'm interested to find out if and when we can expect any info on date for Goldrush to come out? Second can I sersernd in 2 submissions? I have written 2 seperate episodes one with Kelly and Tommy. Second one is about Scratch and the family. This one includes Angel and Jeremy from Lockdown. Its about the family and hjow Scratcvh was raped by her cousin. Guess who that was? Please let me know where I can send the info thanks
Hello.
Sorry for me being off quite some time ... I hope everyone had his fun and you - like me - enjoyed "Lockdown".
Anyway: Most recently I "received" news via the grimacebooks (Facebook) on We're Alive. Kc, you wield the forces of authorship and creativity again and have named "it" the "We're Alive: Goldrush" so far with Chapter 1 already finished ... Would you mind dropping a few more lines about these amazing news? Will this be another audiodrama? When will it be available? Is there some kind of Kickstarter/ Indiegogo of sorts planned? How can your fans and friends contribute?
Thank you and best wishes!
Liam
We're going to have submissions for writing soon, more details to come on that. There will be a pdf submission process.
We don't have a date set for the release of Goldrush. I tend to not give release dates until things are written and moving forward. Stories like Lockdown and Goldrush that have many elements between two points of time in the story tend to be a bit more complicated to write because they have to fit between existing points. It will be another audio drama with the soldiers Puck, Muldoon, Robbins and Carl as the main cast. There will be some familiar voices as well. We don't have a kickstarter planned as the last one really limited us on what we could do, and didn't end up paying for everything. We might do some fundraisers or whatnot, but not to the extent that we did with Kickstarter. Anything else you'd like to know?
But that doesn't mean that we, as the fans, can't click on the donate tab above and donate what we are comfortable with to help KC keep producing his Audio Theatre of the Mind.
What do you see for the future of were alive? Have you thought about any stories from what happened in other country's? Are there any special zombies in other country's/states? Is ink the only really smart zombie?
True, we might do something along the lines of preordering and such.
Ink was unique. Very unique, which is why he was a focal point of the first series. There's a lot more just sitting and waiting to be written, which is why we're expanding with new writers. I'll still be in charge of the story, but there will be new blood soon enough :)
Hmm I was listening to last season and just thought about a theory. Goldrush reminds me of gold mines. And Tanya had a theory that the zmbz came from under ground? Maybe there was some miners that were digging and were exposed to a toxin that infected them. They probably were stuck down there and when they died they decomposed and the gas they released made ground zero?¿?¿?¿? just a guess though. Was I close?
http://www.werealive.com/forum/attac...1&d=1497875082 felt like trying to apply were alive to a manga
Perhaps the gas is being forced out due to fracking...
hi KC, I dont know if you remember the posting I did about why Cindy in We're Alive had her legs broken. I had suggested that Angel and Cindy were going to steal military weapons for the families. However, Angel was setting a trap for the families.
well, I decided to expand on that and wrote a 21 page short story about it. I would like submit it to you. I know you have been really busy with gold rush and I cant wait for it to start being played.
how do go about submitting it to you and what file format?
I have saved as doc, docx, rtf, and pdf.
thanks for inspiring me to write this.
side note. it was the conversation is under Angel denys last pages
Love to read it! email kc@werealive.com :)
On a side note, Angel wouldn't do anything for the families after he left them, but I still want to read it -
Any thoughts to converting to novels? or Graphic novels?
Novels are something that are in the works, but Graphic novels, haven't really been on my radar. Since WD came from comics, I don't see a huge gain to be made with WA as a translation there. It could be cool, but it's one of those things where I would only venture into with the right team and artist as well.
you and me both.lol thanks and I will. oh yea, I did think of that angel wouldn't do anything for the families. its in there and why.
Have you considered making a We're Alive Table top RPG? There are D20 systems you can pick from, or build your own. It might give people another unique opportunity to live out their zombie dreams, and it also is a great way to generate new story lines.
I have not yet had a chance to. Goldrush has taken over my life atm :(
Hey kc is there any secrets in the current released story that are implied but no one has figured out yet?
Also just a random thought is cj in a family cause she's an incredible leader and at one point it was implying that she was wearing a ring.
Omg were alive frontier..... Any info on it that can be shared?
Hey.....did cj really try to kill Victor. I'm referring to the part where their going to get pictures at the gas area for cj. I find it very unlikely that she missed a leak in the suit. She also said that she checked the suits. I'd understand cause she didn't wanna use her supplies 3x as fast and she didn't need vic very much.
So. Goldrush takes place before them dying in twin towers? Does it take place during the time skip at fort erwin? (I think that's the name)
Dying light 2 seems VERY similar to were alive.
The post is very useful to me, thanks for more information shares with me.
Hey there KC, every time i listen to WA I always find myself trying to visualize what some of the scenes look like and what some of the creatures appearance would be and those little chapter images always help a bit but i always find myself wishing for just some thing more. like chapter 25's image finally gives me an idea of just how menacing and actually huge the behemoth is, and i was wandering how do you choose what the chapters image will be and contain or is that left to the artist?
and also have you ever considered that like at the end of a series putting together a book with what you see some of these scenes just to give your listeners a better idea as to what the world looks like in your head? im not saying like a comic book but just one with large full detail images of points and places in the story for reference
