Will there be a resolution to the question, "will the humans survive?"

Most likely.

With most zombie outbreak stories you never find out if the human groups survive and rebuild. Nor do you often see either a cure or the zombies (and I say this loosely) defeated.

There is no cure. Frog can't turn back into a tadpole

Will we be seeing any nuclear reactors go critical?

That's something that I've danced around a bit, I'm going with the answer that most all of them were shut down into an emergency cooling mode by those responsible for the reactors. Some did not, however.

I have many more questions. But I'm saving them.
