A fire truck used by the survivors. It is also referred to as the "fire engine".

Appearances:

• Chapter 12 - The mallers bring in a fire truck so that the ladder can be used to climb up to higher floors of the tower.
  
• Chapter 13 - Angel and Riley climb down to the cab, so that the hose can be used to put out the fire in the tower. Flares are also found in the cab.
  

The Fire Engine described in the story has characteristics that aren't shared by actual LA Fire Department trucks. It has a ladder capable of reaching the third story of the tower, it has a water gun, and it has an internal water tank. Standard LAFD Engines have the water gun and internal water tank, but not the ladder; ladder trucks don't have internal water tanks.
