What annoys me about WD is that it feels there's no end goal. I hate TV series that feel like that....

Yeah; they never really try to figure out how to stop anything. It's just roaming, settling, disaster, repeat. It focuses too entirely on human vs human, rather than being about zombies. They say that's about to start changing in the comics, though, but it's been going too long to matter.

Yea, I do not know what will happen, but lots of people are talking about Saul doing the brave thing and going to his death to end the Ink threat. Pegs could do the same thing with the Scratch threat, right? Would Scratch be Sated with Pegs or does she need more? Pegs was at the airport the last time Scratch came calling, so tha gambit was not available.

If Scratch does get her mits on Pegs, is it an instant execution or the time-worn villian mistake of wanting to wallow in revenge long enough to be undone?

If scratch or others get away, Chekhov's gun has one last bullet. Lady is part beagle, so she is a natural born scent tracker that Saul did partially train
