I don't think Michael is all that interested in "being in charge" unless he feels like whomever is in charge is putting people in danger or causing harm. He knows he really can't drum up real support from the Colonists. His loyalty is to "his people" first and humanity in general second. So I'm saying he is with Saul & Victor unless they keep the real reaon for leaving from him and make up a very convincing story....
