Shit of the bulls! The only circumstance of which Scratch is a victim is that of having a disconnect between her amygdala and her orbitofrontal cortex.
Hopefully, someone will disconnect a few more parts of her brain.![]()

Ladies and Gentlemen, straight from Mysterical Island, it's the Shaman of Schiznick, the Mofo with the Mojo, the Mad Scientist of the Jungle, the Doctor is in!
Doctor? Doctor who?
NO! Witch Doctor, fool!
At the garage, after CJ bleeds out the Zombie, me thinkeths she foreshadowethes. Hark, ho, ye she sayeths, "I'll have to remember that move." Scratch's balls have just been cut off.
Anyone notices how Scratch NEVER sounds scared? She didn't seem bothered at all that a host of angry Colonist could be heading her way through that door. Even when zombies were attacking her convoy os the Mall and everyone was in freakout mode, she seemed invincible.
Also, I think the door is rigged to explode because when CJ stops heself from openning Burt's door and mentions the 'alarm', Scratch replies,
"Oh, so you figured that out, huh?" As if CJ figured out that it was more than just an alarm.
Also, I still think that CJ's blade has Zombie-cooties on it.

Wow. 25 pages. I've got my work cut out for me! But, initial impressions: Holy awesome resistance! I'm full of one question: Where did CJ learn all the superplanning yet consistently not have basic military training?
And one statement: Wow, I didn't expect Kc to kill off Saul. Really.
KC didn't kill Kalani in a cliffhanger... he killed him in the latter half of Chapter 24. His death, along with those of Samantha, Tommy, Bill and all those tower people occurred in an actual scene in the chapter.
Weighing in on the is she our isn't she dead front, CJ is either dead or about to die.
For a little while, she's been set up to be an Eponine-like tragic figure: her own self-imposed spoke in a love triangle.
She's alone in this revolutionary world and has never gotten to taste any joy, rather she lives in her own little castle on a cloud. (or in this case, fortress in Los Angeles)
She fell in love with Saul, helped him to strengthen his bond with Lizzy, went to battle with him to be close to him, and now she's going to die in his arms. We'll get confirmation of this characterization when she sings with her last dying breath, "Without me, the world will keep on turning, and Zombies running everywhere to be killed but I'm not there." All in our next episode of Les Zombierables.

Thank you for correcting Osiris about kalani. He killed himself with a helicopter and a tanker during the fall of the tower. Not a cliffhanger at all.
