M134 Minigun
The M134 Minigun is a heavy automatic weapon used by the United States Army. The same weapon is used by the Air Force under the designations GAU-2 and GAU-17, and by the Navy as the Mk 25. The minigun features six barrels that rotate as they fire, and is capable of incredibly high rates of fire.

Originally developed in the 1960s, it was used extensively in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Continues in production with very little change from when it was introduced. Used as armament by helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, boats and vehicles. There is a man-portable version, which was featured in the movies Predator and Terminator 2.
