Chapter 26- "Who Overcomes" Part 3

Just some thoughts during my third time through....

26-3 @ 12:10 just as Saul, Victor and Chin Way enter the gate Victor says "Uh

Saul." "I'm right here" Saul replies. Victor continues "I just uhhh... AH

never mind."
What do you think that was about? Afraid of the dark?

I think that the Inked/pin striped zombie is the criminal from the TIVO'd news report... because he's still wearing the clothes he wore in court

Does Saul's criminal past (larceny) resurface or will Michael learn about it?

In Ep 6-3 @ 13:40 Saul calls Michael 'Mikey' and Michael snaps at him... why does he react to the nickname? And who gave it to him?

in order(i included your other two points from the other post as well)

1: many of us have speculated that victor has had a realization of sorts as to where he and saul are

2:many of us feel bill roberts is/was/became ink/theonewithmarkings/theoneinthepinstripedsuit/whateverelseyawannacallhim

3:saul's past has yet to really resurface at all(aside from the few aside mentions by michael)michael knows of sauls past, or at least he seems to...but he seems very hesitant to bring it up

4:early on michael is very hesitant to get close to anyone in any way, this could have something to do with that. also, if michael allows saul to call him "mikey" then the rest of the tower people could see that as a sign of dissention among the "troops" so to say. at that point michael had been leading with a semi-strong hand...hearing saul call him mikey would put a chink in that armor

5that looks really awesome...maybe post a thread about it in the movies section down in "everything else" dept...i know many people here are pretty excited about it. but try to keep those things separate from the chapter discussions(seriously not trying to be a rent-a-mod, just a friendly suggestion )

I'm saying Hannah is probably Kalani's daughter. Before he went kamikaze on the mallers, didn't he mention her? If my memory isn't fooling me, Angel has something of Kalani's...before the tower fell. Perhaps it was his billfold? I don't remember.

Angel says its Kalani's journal, but he doesn't have them anymore. He put them in Hope's backpack with Lady. So Hope has it right now.

And Kalani's exact quote was "That girl? That was my Hannah" (the question mark may be incorrect. It just makes grammatical sense to me. An ellipses would also work I suppose.)

I gotta disagree with you on Saul's past. His past is better known than anyone elses.
1. We all know he moved back to Cali to hook up with Mike's unit.
2. We know he did a little bit of time but joined the Military to keep from doing more.
3. We know about his mom and aunt.
4. We know he lived alone (kinda)
5. We know all about his mom
6. We know how he got most of his medical training
7. We know his MOS

Burt is the next person with a pretty filled in backstory.

i was basing that answer solely on his criminal past. michael(and to a lesser extent lizzie and burt) are the only ones who really know saul did time. lizzie/burt havent really brought it up, and michael has been slightly elusive about sauls "loose cannon" status..but otherwise i totally agree..sauls file is very filled in.

Did anyone else notice that Saul aka KC finally said which post he was based at? KC danced around it for a season and a half (we thought Ft Drum since it's where 10th Mtn is). Ft Bell... I'm searching for that.

Does Michael know? I am not sure. I cannot remember any evidence for that. In Chapter 1, Saul talks about hanging out in a Prison. Angel says that he believes he could, and "I know you can". I think of this as Angel speaking to Saul. As an officer, maybe he has looked at a personel file or something. Would an LT have that for everyone in his Squad? Would a junior sargent?

I am not sure when it occurs. But, I have a memmory of Burt Laughing and saying I do not know. I think this had something to do with a Michael statement around Saul with prison. Burt, knows. An inside joke? Burt knows, but will not admit it? I cannot remember
