It was one of the only decent options I saw without going into what I know would be excellent (Shure SM58 with the USB dongle). My headset is toast and you'll hear it once Beez is done making me listenable, but I had no other option last night. It worked fine for the finale but I guess my cats chewed on the mic or some nonsense.
I'd have gone with a Shure SM27. But that's me. It's almost like 11tybillion times the price.
