I dont understand why Were Alive isnt listed in the top podcasts when you search under top shows under fiction or arts category. Were Alive has so many more great reviews and downloads than the ones listed at top.

What's considered "Top" is based on a lot of factors. If a show is new, and is getting attention, then it will appear higher. It doesn't have to to necessarily with popularity or even downloads. It's a formula
