Introduction to the story

Firstly, I want to give a big thanks to Nikvoodoo for allowing me to post the stories i got in mind and for giving me two sub-forums to post them in. Much appreciated Nik!

Now, this story is set in the were alive world, and begins about a week after the initial outbreak. The story centers around Claire Davidson, a member of the Los Angeles Police Department and one of only a handful of officers who survived the first encounters with those infected. She eventually runs into not only the Tower survivors but the Mallers as well while trying to survive. Writing this story has always been a idea in the back of my head while i was listening to the podcast the first couple of times. Now one thing i didn't want to do was take the exact plot and just make one or two tweaks and call it done. So there will be some events that dont happen in the canon timeline from story of survival, including several big events that happen differently, as well as some things that are my own ideas. I won't spoil any of the changes but I do hope you will enjoy it. I'll post the first chapter sometime tomorrow night
