That's really the point isn't it? Whether or not it's real (though it certainly is), what is so hard about simply doing your part to not cause a strain on your own little part of the world? I can't fathom people's staunch refusal to leave a better world for the next generation.

Also, most ways to cut CO2 emissions, funnily enough, also saves money for them, so what's the harm? Even if the slim chance that global warming isn't real, we are still using up the last of the non-renewable sources of fuel, so what's the harm in cutting down a little so they can last just another few years?

I would think the answer to that is painfully obvious: profit. There's money to be had, doesn't matter what it costs the future.
