I have to admit that his voice (and ALL of
the Mallers') was a turn-off, at first. They sounded too much like stereotypical bad guys from Chicago gangster films and 50s hoodlums. Nothing contemporary like you would expect prisoners from a hardcore lock-up like Eastern Bay.
I keep expecting to hear
Tardust talk about
'rubbing out' someone, or
Scratch trying to decide which switch blade to take to the
'rumble.'
