i was doing my big re-listen of the entire We're Alive podcast and heard something in Chapter 1, Part 3 @ around 4:00 min.

Angel asks: "There are only 15 floors?"
Datu says: "Well, 14. But... there's no number 13."

call me crazy, but is that a "Sideways Stories from Wayside School" book reference, KC?
From Chapter 19 in the book:

19. Miss Zarves
Miss Zarves is the teacher of the nineteenth floor of Wayside school. However, there is no nineteenth floor on wayside school, which means there is no Miss Zarves.

i used to LOVE when my teacher would read from that book back in elementary school.

no buildings have floor numbered 13, its a tradition and superstition concerning the number 13. I did a paper on it, I was trying for my anthropology degree and the subject was included in one of the classes I took
