I have a pet peeve about shows/movies that take the name of a something, but change it so totally you wonder why they bothered. I mean, they say the most preposterous things, but I'm really enjoying it.

Good actors can go miles in rescuing bad writing. I wonder if being British and classically trained helps? Because on the face of it, Shakespeare is plenty preposterous sometimes. Plus, the humor is fantastic. I don't have to cringe watching Ichabod try to sit down in skinny jeans (God's wounds!) or figure out a flashlight--because he sells it. The tiny historical facts are cool too (Paul Revere and the others didn't say the British were coming because at that time we were ALL British. They said the Regulars were coming) Plus, Tom Mison is such pretty, pretty eye candy. Le sigh, le Purr.
