This reminds me of "Big Trouble in Little China", where the story revolved around girls with green eyes.

Not being able to walk in Liberty Park anymore? What's the point, what did CJ obtain by that? We went from "I will send you out there to die ("you think that matters to me right now?") to "Help yourself with the whole building, I left you some real nice white wine in the pantry". It seemed real smooth and CJ did not even achieve his revenge over Saul and Victor. I don't know, maybe I'm overanalyzing.

I want to hate her but taken in that context.....don't know that I can.

    scratch that....I still do.
Well, CJ did get called out in 37-3 by Saul/Victor during her banishment rant. They reminded her of her deal with them about Ground Zero. She felt he had to honor her word since she was calling them out for lying. So, she gets them out of the Colony, still maintains her illusion of integrity, and as 7odd says, may have put a backup/failsafe plan into motion with Saul/Victor/Lizzy re-establishing Dunbar, the safe houses, and the supporting systems they had.

At a minimum, she has to know that Saul and Michael will have some sort of communications after the exiles get back up into LA. That will give CJ information on how things stand at Dunbar, et al.
Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Oh, and with respect to numbers in the Colony, when Victor sneaks back into the Colony via the water truck in Chapter 32, he gets Gatekeeper and CJ talking on the police radios. Gatekeeper gives her a rundown on Colony numbers (from 32-2 around the 13:30 mark):
    - 90 Colonist remaining before the Mallers show up
    - 20 slaves the Mallers brought with them
    - 30 (rough guess) Mallers themselves

Total of around 140 people; 110 minus the Mallers.

Obviously some of the Colonists and slaves are killed in the revolt. It's assumed that all of the Mallers are either killed or get out of the Colony during that time. Some number of the remaining people are killed in the Zombie attack that follows as well.

Add Glenn and Pete along with CJ, Saul, Victor, Lizzy, Michael, Datu, Tanya, Hope, Kelly, Burt, Riley, Pegs, Puck, Muldoon, Robbins, and Carl.

That could be a total Colony population of between 75 and 90, assuming that there are at least the 62 mentioned in the voting conversation plus the known non-voters (everyone from Irwin + Saul, Victor, Burt, and Lizzie).

    In case anyone was wondering.....

@scbubba: Thanks for the numbers. Those have slipped my mind; also I may have been way too pessimistic about them with the revolt and the latest zombattacks in mind.

The only thing I wonder is "Colonist" a title, much like guardian. When victor is leading Pegs etal and he says Colony, she Parrots colony, much like she does when she hears Marcus. Could be a device KC uses to help it stick in the listeners mind, but could also be she recognizes the names. What makes me suspicious is Pegs calls Michael etal Guardians in her Journal in Season 1 even before we hear the term, but Michael etal call themselves soldiers.

Is there a difference between "colonist" and survivor?

Since I'm lazy, just gonna drop my first post in the episode thread here:

Let's see....I, among others, were way off. I thought Saul/Victor would sugarcoat their departure to dunbar to the masses, but at least let Michael/Lizzy in on the details. Whoops. Still not too bad I guess. They have a reason to work there that will serve a temporary excuse, but like Michael keeps saying, they can train others. Lizzy is going with, but this worries us for medical attention, no worries though the crew has PLANNED TONYA'S ARRIVAL TO DUNBAR FOR BABY DELIVERY. Anyone else read this as "Expect fecal matter to hit the wind machine just before Tonya's expected arrival?" yea...that's what I got out of it.

Riley is pretty damn keen when she's off the sauce! Something IS up, and she's damn close to what it is. Props to Riley!

Alright, let's get our hats on early folks, here's mine:

Saul/Victor/Lizzy make it to Dunbar. Their Escort leaves them once they get inside and give an 'all clear'. But once deep inside they're surprised by scratch/Tardust. They take Lizzy hostage as they enter a room or something, getting the jump on em and make victor/saul stage some story to the Colony for a run and make up a story so that PEGS has to go to Dunbar for something. Riley finally teaches someone to cook in the interim, and is allowed to accompany pegs (or does so off the books). Burt goes with as 50 cal escort man. Once Pegs/Riley/Burt arrive they enter to deliver/pick up some supplies from Victor/Saul and end up in a surprise epic battle with scratch/tardust.

I like the theory....but I'm having trouble remembering exactly (unless I dreamt it), I recall Kc commenting a long time ago when someone pointed out an inconsistency in the story of someone's eye color. I thought it was something like Michael's first time seeing someone he described them as having blue eyes, then when saul saw them it was green eyes. I swore it was Lizzy, but I'm having doubts if this ever happened at all now since I perused the 'loophole' thread where I swore I read it, and can't find it again....

I recall (if it happened and I'm not insane), Kc saying they would go back and fix it so both said the same color, but if this actually happened, I'd have a hard time believing the specific color of un-turned eyes is a main plot point if Kc made a mistake on ones color.

That said, I'm a huge proponent of the eye thing. I stand by my critiques a few episodes ago about the chick who Tonya put down and Michael specifically calling out the appearance of her eyes.

Please tell me I didn't dream up that first part someone?

You are right about blue vs green, but both are related in that they do not produce the brown color. The dark eyes are the ones that are colored with typical skin pigment. The Blue and Green color is more a function of how light is scattered within the eye. Like the sky is blue because the narrow wavelengths are scattered more than longer wavelengths.

You really can't put a bunch of blue eyes in a blender and get back a blue paint. You could do it with brown eyes because of the melanin and get a brown color.

Not arguing their plausible significance, just that if it was an oversight in one script or another, than it is most likely not the easter egg of the outbreak. I still love the theory though
