Feeling kind of like the vegetarian at Thanksgiving Dinner (Been there, done that). I've tried watching Firefly but just couldn't get that much into it. Gonna give it another try though. Wish me luck.

How are you liking it so far?

So far I really like it but I won't be buying the graphic novels or comic books.

To me comic books are like if you illustrated every 3rd We're Alive episode and never bother with the rest. The only comic book I have liked since I was 9 was The Walking Dead but I just couldn't being myself to keep buying them after the first 16.

You have to make sure to catch the episodes in correct order. If you catch them in the jacked up order Fox originally set them out then it is hopeless. Browncoat through an through here. The weird sounds (or maybe better: noises) orally made by the barbaric beasts of he central European rolling hills ... You recognize them by the smell of beer (plenty of it) ...

I'm a fairly recent Brown coat, I only started the series last summer. Since then I;'ve already re-watched it and now i've got netflix I'm seriously tempted to go back.
Wasn't a huge fan of the movie though. Closed too many doors. Also a word of advice to new viewers, give it three or four episodes before quitting.
