Well we are seeing the men being separated from the boys it seems. Can any of the teams on top break out to be top dog. Can the teams in the middle of the pack cling on enough to keep climbing or slip into the world of relegation. Lets see what we have going on here this week. And I want to note here...never give up if you are on the bottom...at least make other teams feel your presence. And with all these bye week and injuries. Do not get comfortable. This is where you want to fight to stay in the lead or some of these teams will be snapping at your heels right to the play offs if not passing you up.

Last week I picked 2 right and 3 wrong for the fantasy teams. I won't even get into player picks...its embarrassing.

Bye Week Teams

Falcons
Broncos
Chiefs
Dolphins
Eagles
Chargers

Injuries

Jake Locker (QB Ten)
(Shoulder) He is still out. Soon to return...we think.

Pierre Garcon (WR Was)
(Foot) He had a set back so it is now a wait and see.

Donald Brown (RB Ind)
(Knee) He may be on injured reserve before long.

Ryan Williams (Ari RB)
(Shoulder) Why is he even in your line up?

Greg Jennings (GB WR)
(Groin) Well we will have to see when he gets back...its healing but there seems to be no rush to get him back.

Kevin Kolb (Ari QB)
(Ribs) He triumphant return is cut short for 4 to 8 weeks.

Mario Manningham (SF WR)
(Shoulder) He will be out this week maybe longer. Keep an eye on availability.

DeMarco Murray(Dal RB)
(Foot) Well we will see if he has a starting job when he comes back depending if someone tries to snatch it back up.

Issac Redman (Pit RB)
(Ankle) Not going to be missed on most fantasy teams.

Cedric Benson (GB RB)
(Foot) Why is he still in your line up?

Rashard Mendenhall (Pit TB)
(Achilles) Well look who is back on the injured list.

Sit'em or Play'em
Again no injured or bye week players will be mentioned here.

Sit'em

Alex Smith
The Seahawks are a tough team to play and this could be a bad run for him.

Micheal Crabtree
He is not that dynamic or point making wide out there is...add in a tough Seahawks defense and he will do even less.

Leonard Hankerson
He is pretty deep in the depth charts even with Garcon out. Play at your own risk.

Brandon Pettigrew
He may not be a must sit but keep an eye on him. He is losing plays to another TE and the Bears won't be an easy play either.

Rams
Do not get me wrong...they have been amazing these last 3 weeks. Just against the possible scoring machine that the Packers are makes me shy away from them.

Sidney Rice
Yeah the 49ers were not great last week but I have no faith that the Seahawks offense will amaze me here. This is going to be a defensive slugfest.

Play'em

Scott Chandler
He is set up for a huge game this weekend.

Jason Witten
He is back on his game and this is a great match up for him.

Andrew Luck
Facing the Browns has to be tempting right?

Mike Williams
And how is this guy not tempting against the Saints non-existent secondary

Owen Daniels
Schaub like to throw to him and you should like to put him in your line up.

Felix Jones
DeMarco Murray is out what else needs to be said.

Denarius Moore
The Jaguars are 23rd in the league against the pass. Put him in.

Azoic Defenders (GodofInsanity) vs Cats HateHitler (Mem)

Matt Schaub vs Carson Palmer
Schaub showed last week what happens when the Texans just cannot get into the groove for taking down a talented team. The Packers came out swinging where as the Ravens look to be licking there wounds. This week could be good for him. Palmer said last week they needed to run the ball more but continued to throw more as each week goes by. This looks too good since he faces the Jaguars, a team we all know is unable to stop any play defensively. Carson Palmer takes this match.

Alex Smith vs Sam Bradford
The Packers last week have made us re-evaluate there defense completely. This makes it look very bad for Bradford going in against them, especially with the way the secondary handle Matt Schaub. Smith showed us why we should never have him as a top QB. He can have a great week and then hit bottom. This week he looks better facing the Seahawks though that will still be a tough fight for him as they were able to give Tom Brady a run for his money last week. Alex Smith takes this match.

Frank Gore vs Ray Rice
The Seahawks rush defense is 2nd in the league. No matter what anyone says about history Gore will be slowed down by this and it will impact his productivity. He will still have a good day but do not expect any explosions. Rice will not any easier time against the Texans who after being stung badly by Aaron Rodgers last week will surely step up there game and give the Ravens a real tough time this week. Frank Gore takes this match.

Alfred Morris vs Stevan Ridley
Okay starting with Ridley...The Jets this season have only once been able to keep RB's from scoring and that was last week. Ridley has shown that he is very capable being the main RB for the Patriots save for last week where he hit a wall. This week will be rebound time. Morris' biggest problem is sharing all the yards with his very capable QB Griffin. The Giants are usually pretty generous to opposing RB's and this week Morris will get his mileage. Stevan Ridley takes this match.

Vincent Jackson vs Calvin Johnson
The Bears defense makes me nervous about Johnson's chances for a huge game, history aside. Temper your expectations with this tough defense. If anyone has a chance to explode against the Bears it is Megatron. The Saints have shown that all season they are not about defense. Even a team like the Buccaneers should have a good day facing this pitiful secondary. Jackson has the size and speed to beat them all day as long as Freeman can get the ball to him.Calvin Johnson takes this match.

Torrey Smith vs Dez Bryant
Bryant is the #1 wide out for Romo now. He has seen a huge up turn in looks his way and against the Panthers that will not stop. He looks to have a huge game. Smith has taken a bit of a step back these last couple weeks but should be back on track this week as the Ravens will have to use every available weapon against this tough Texans defense, even if they are shaken. Dez Bryant takes this match.

Vernon Davis vs Rob Gronkowski
The Gronk should be getting back on track as Hernandez gets healthier and plays more taking some heat off of him. Keep an eye on his hip issue but beyond that start to expect normal numbers from this TE soon. Davis looks at a real tough game against the Seahawks as they are really good a shutting down opposing TE's. The Niners hope he will rebound but that is going to be a tough row to hoe. Rob Gronkowski takes this match.

Fred Jackson vs Ahmad Bradshaw
Bradshaw is going to lose some of his productivity to the fact the Manning will go to the air against this horrible secondary. But do not expect him to be out of the mix completely. Jackson is 100% now but anyone can tell he is not as explosive as his counterpart C.J. Spiller. They will continue to share time and he will only be at best half as productive as we would like to see. The Titans offer the unique opportunity for them both to do well. Fred Jackson takes this match.

49ers vs Packers
Normally I would tell you not to look to heavily on how well this defense did last week. But this match against the Rams is just too tempting to pass up. The Niners may have a tough time offensively this weekend but defensively they should be right back on it. The Seahawks are nowhere near explosive. The 49ers take this match.

Cats HateHitler takes this match easily.

Mallers Da Winna (COsurvivor) vs Winter Nom Noms (Mrscott101)

Aaron Rodgers vs Andy Dalton
Okay now that is what we like to see in Rodgers. The Rams have done well holding back QB's but Rodgers is not your typical QB. He more than likely will not get 6 TD's but he should still dominate the Rams. Dalton would be a juggernaut if he did not throw as many interceptions as he has this season. That alone drops him for me. Aaron Rodgers takes this match.

Eli Manning vs Christian Ponder
If you can believe the ranking to the Cardinals secondary than Ponder is in for a super tough weekend. Flip that over to Manning who faces a super weak secondary and is at home. This one is too easy. Eli Manning takes this match.

Darren Sproles vs Adrian Peterson
Sproles will get his score through the air this Sunday which may not be too shabby. Add in that Tampa may slow the rush but cannot stop the pass which just happens to be the Saints main attack. This looks like a good week for Peterson to end his dry spell in the end zone. The Cardinals are not the best rush defense around. Adrian Peterson takes this match.

Ryan Williams vs Ryan Matthews
Williams is out for the season. Matthews is on bye

Micheal Crabtree vs A.J. Green
Crabtree could be set up for a great weekend. I am still a cynic when it comes to him as he has only proven once in 6 weeks to be a payoff to be in your line up. He should do well against the Seahawks but we will see. Green is Dalton's favorite target. He has gotten double digits almost all season. And the Steelers are not the Steel Curtain like we are used to. A.J. Green takes this match.

Leonard Hankerson vs Victor Cruz
Hankerson is still far down on the depth chart of who is going to be passed to. Unless he gets a lucky pass or breakout he will be in the low single digits. Cruz may see a cut in his productivity with Nicks back in the mix but in my opinion he has established himself as the #1 wide out and will see more than enough work thrown his way against the Redskins. Victor Cruz takes this match.

Martellus Bennett vs Brandon Pettigrew
I would be all over Bennett this week save for 1 thing. Three weeks of almost no productivity. He may explode this week. Maybe they are lulling defenses into thinking he is a non factor. Either way keep an eye on him closely because he should be benched if this does not change. Pettigrew is another player we have seen who numbers have been cut down due to time sharing. But this may not be a permanent thing so do not fret. Brandon Pettigrew takes this match.

Brandon Marshall vs Percy Harvin
I am not entirely sure that the Lions are going to be able to stop Marshall. It all comes down to Cutler. If Jay Cutler has a breakdown like we have seen before expect numbers to plummet. More than likely that will not happen. Ponder like to throw to Harvin and he will all this game as well. Add in the possibility for punt return points and Harvin looks good. Brandon Marshall takes this match.

Bears vs Cardinals
Both of these defenses have done well this season. The Bears just have done better and that puts them out in front. Easily the Bears take this match.

This could be a close fight. Mallers Da Winna takes this match.

Clear Sights (Clear Sights) vs Get To Da Choppa! (Joosbawx)

Jay Cutler vs Drew Brees
Brees against Tampa Bay. Whew that just looks to damn good to pass up. There is no downside with him. He could look to go after that 6 TD in one game record set just last week. I do not care what analysts say about Cutler. Sure he can act like a child but on the flip side him and Brandon Marshall are playing of the same level right now. Even against the Lions he may be able to connect all day long. Even then, Drew Brees takes this match.

Josh Freeman vs Cam Newton
Freeman blew up last week and there is nothing in the Saints defense that makes us think that this week will be any different. Look for an excellent game for him and his wide outs. Newton is in for a tough weekend against one of the best pass defenses in the league. He may use his ability to run here more than usual and may test the Dallas defense with that. Either way, Josh Freeman takes this match.

Arian Foster vs Doug Martin
Again we roll back around to the Saints defense. Martin is set up for a pretty big day. The Saints are 31st against the rush and there is not much to say after that. The Ravens are usually a real tough defense to rush against but considering the injuries they have suffered it should be more of an easy job than typical. Foster did not do horrible last week but the Packers did shut him down for less than any of us expected. This week is redemption. Arian Foster takes this match.

Darren McFadden vs Mikel Leshoure
McFadden's workload has grown and this week against a Jaguars defense he should start looking like the RB that we all have been waiting to see this season. Add in that Palmer throws more and more every week that will lengthen the field and open it up for Run DMC. Leshoure is the big dog now that Best is not coming back to play this season...as we expected. He will get his play time but the Bears can be a tough defense to go against for any RB. This really is not too hard to pick. Darren McFadden takes this match.

Larry Fitzgerald vs Jordy Nelson
So how many people forgot to have Nelson in last week. I have talked to more than a few. And with how well he has been playing you should not hesitate to keep him in even if Jennings returns. The Rams look like a juicy target not to pass up and you shouldn't. It will be interesting to see how Fitzgerald does with Skelton back under the helm. He used to fare really well as Skelton and he has developed a good working relationship on the field. The only question here in lies if Skelton will be up to being back in the mix of things. Jordy Nelson takes this match.

Roddy White vs Reggie Wayne
White is on bye this week. Wayne faces the Browns and Andrew Luck is talented enough to throw on them all day long and who does he like to throw to? Reggie Wayne. Expect great day for him. Reggie Wayne takes this by default.

Antonio Gates vs Kyle Rudolph
Gates is on bye this week. Rudolph should see the end zone again this week end. The Cardinals will keep him shut down as best as they can but he will slip through. This match goes to Kyle Rudolph by default.

Steve Smith vs Trent Richardson
Smith should get his numbers this week end just because of the work load he will carry. But he still faces a tough secondary that has not allowed wide outs very much freedom this season. Keep an eye on Richardson's availability but if he plays he will have a huge day as the Colt's are ranked very low against the run. They may not win as a team but Richardson will get his. Trent Richardson takes this match.

Steelers vs the Rams
The big question for the Rams is if they will be able to slow down the Packers. I do not think they can shut them down but they can make them work for every yard thrown. The Steelers weren't able to keep the Titans at bay last week. The only reason I will be going with them is that I do no expect a blow out with them that is possible with the Rams. The Steelers take this match.

Unless some changes are made then Get To Da Choppa! Takes this match up.

Team Braindead (Socali) vs Paint Huffing Warriors (TCM Revolver)

Matt Ryan vs Tom Brady
Ryan is on bye. Brady may be a tad unsteady after the beating he took from the Seahawks last week. He should be back on his game and expect another 300 yard day but minus the 2 interceptions. Tom Brady takes this match by default.

Micheal Vick vs Robert Griffin III
Vick is on bye this week. The Giants may defeat the Redskins but I do not see them being able to contain RG III. He is the best dual threat QB in the league right now. I too hope that he does not fall the way of Cam Newton, who in my opinion is still a great threat at QB just is having a rough sophomore season. But at this point do not worry about that. He will do his thing against the Giants. Robert Griffin III takes this match by default.

Micheal Turner vs Matt Forte
Turner is on bye. Forte is back and at 100%. Expect a very good day against the Lions though he may loose time to Micheal Bush during trash duty. Matt Forte takes this match by default.

Cedric Benson vs Vick Ballard
Benson is on injured reserve and may be back way later in the season. Ballard is the #1 back as long as Brown is injured. The Browns are 24th against the rush and if he is to show what he has got this is the game to do it in. Vick Ballard takes this match by default.

Andre Johnson vs Wes Welker
We will have to see how Johnson fares. He has not had a spectacular season even if he is getting more targets. The Ravens are a shadow of there former selves at the moment due to injuries. Can we see another 100 yard week for Welker. I do with the Jets not in as great of shape as many wish they were. Wes Welker takes this match easily.

Sidney Rice vs James Jones
The more the Seahawks QB Russel gets comfortable with the pass the more Sidney Rice should have thrown his way. Its just simple statistics. Another statistic...the 49ers are 2nd in the league against the pass. Sure they got ripped by Eli last week but Russel is no Eli Manning. Jones these last 3 weeks has been a TD machine and that shouldn't change this week. With Jennings still out he is going to get more than enough of a work load for himself. James Jones takes this match.

Tony Gonzalez vs Coby Fleener
Gonzalez is on bye this week. Fleener may rack up some points for you fantasy team but probably not as much as you would like. Coby Fleener takes this match by default.

Marshawn Lynch vs Josh Gordon
Lynch should have done much better last week against the Patriots. This week he will not do much better against the 49ers. He needs to break out of this box he is stuck in but do not expect that this week. Where did this Gordon guy come from. Well for 2 weeks now he has surprised a lot of owners. He will be in you starting line up, just hope that this was not a 2 week shooting star. Noting the Colts against the pass.....it will be at least a 3 week shooting star. Josh Gordon takes this match.

Dolphins vs Bengals
The Dolphins are on bye this week. The Bengals showed there colors last week. Beware and hope for positive points. The Bengals take this match by default.

Paint Huffing Warriors should destroy on this match

Team Devil Dogs (USMCludwig) vs Voodoo Children (Nikvoodoo)

Peyton Manning vs Matthew Stafford
Manning is on bye this week. We need to see Stafford to start throwing some TD's this season. The Bears are going to make that tough. 18 sacks, 13 interceptions, and 4 recovered fumbles is what Stafford faces. Matthew Stafford takes this match by default.

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs Joe Flacco
Fitzpatrick should rebound this week against a bad Titans defense. He should see a couple TD's for the day at least. With both of his RB's back and seemingly at full health should take some heat off of him in the pocket. Well we will see if Flacco can explode against the Texans like Rodgers did last week. In my opinion he will not. This game will be run on the ground for the Ravens as to eat up the clock to keep there weakened defense off the field as much as possible. Ryan Fitzpatrick takes this match.

LeSean McCoy vs Maurice Jones-Drew
McCoy is in bye. Considering the Raiders defense and that MJD is the only viable offense for the Jaguars, expect a really good day for him. Maurice Jones-Drew takes this match.

Chris Johnson vs C.J. Spiller
Johnson could have a huge day against the Bills. He is still up and down and should be considered unreliable. He has a good chance to do really well though. Spiller is still sharing time with Fred Jackson, but considering Jackson being injury prone and Spiller's explosiveness do not let that hold you back. He is in for a great day against the Titans. C.J. Spiller takes this match.

Mike Wallace vs Steve Johnson
Both of these guys look to have a great weekend. Its really tough to choose here. Wallace has one thing over Johnson...well 4 things and that is TD's. Johnson has been dry for 3 weeks and this week you should expect those TD's to go to the Bills RB's. Wallace will see the end zone again and with that Mike Wallace takes this match.

Marques Colston vs Antonio Brown
Brown looks to have a real good game against a weak Bengals secondary as well here. Wallace will bring in more work but Brown will not come up empty this week. It is hard to think that Colston will have another week like he has had the previous 2 games. But then you see the Buccaneers defense and think well yeah I guess it IS possible. Marques Colston takes this match.

Jared Cook vs Jimmy Graham
Cook is looking at a defense that is able to shut down opposing TE's. This could really cut into his already average production levels. Graham is set to have a really good game against a Buccaneers defense that has struggled to stop him in the past and TE's all this season making this a quick pick. Jimmy Graham takes this match.

Jamaal Charles vs Benjarvus Green-Ellis
Charles is on bye this week. There is no steel wall in Pittsburgh this season but unfortunately The Law Firm may not have the skills to capitalize on that. Benjarvus Green-Ellis takes this match by default.

Texans vs Patriots
Well last week was a slap in the face for fantasy owners who had the Texans in play. This week they should fare better though if they get stomped a second week in a row you may be looking for a new defense. All season we have been saying how much better the Patriots defense has been compared to say last season. Then last week they got thrashed by a rookie QB on a weak offense, making us re-evaluate. The Texans take this match.

This may be a knock down drag out fight but Voodoo Children looks to come out on top.
