looking at getting into doing video capture for games. i need some equipment that can capture video and audio from tv, and record to my mac. anything that would also allow me to record game chat would also be a plus. any suggestions? any help would be appreciated.

you havent tried FRAPS?
I can pretty much do everything listed in hi res videos- with sound from mic and all if I want
