Zombie Hater's Season 2 Team Break downs Part 1

The time has come for our teams that we have selected to take the field and knock each other to the ground as The Mallers and The Tower fight for dominance of this grand sport we call Football. We have 200 players to look at so lets get to it. Here is to bloody warfare and no absentee teams.

    Paint Huffing Warriors (TCM Revolver).

    Tom Brady.
Well what can I say about Brady. He is one of the top passers in the game. He is a most start unless there is an unforeseen injury or a bye week. The only question is his offensive line and if they will be able to protect him very well. Against week DL's it shouldn't be a factor but this is a fact, he will be hurried more this season than seasons past.

    Ben Roethlisberger
Big Ben has proven that he is a warrior on the field. He has thrown the ball superbly with injuries as well as a week offensive line. This year the Steelers concentrated on building up that OL and now that seems to be a problem solved, maybe we will see a Big Ben that will continue to throw heavy but without the handicaps of previous seasons.

    Matt Forte
Forte has had an interesting off season. Hit with a franchise tag and having another really good RB brought in may be tough to swallow. Last season before his injury he swore to carry the bears to the playoffs on his own 2 legs if he had to. Now I haven't been able to find out if they gave him a contract he deserves, but he is playing. Only downside is he may loose goal line opportunities to Micheal Bush but that won't stop you from playing this machine.

    Willis McGahee
McGahee's season depends heavily on how well Manning plays and holds up. Last season he posted up over 1100 yards with Tebow at the helm. This season, if Manning is what we hope Manning can be and healthy, expect a big season from this RB.

    Wes Welker
This is the season of teams not wanting to give there star players the due they deserve. Welker fell into that trap as well. But he is playing. This is one of the most sure handed WR's in the game. Even with all the weapons at Brady's disposal, you can bet on this man seeing the ball as often as he has in previous seasons.

    Julio Jones
Jones had a spectacular season when he exploded last year. There is nothing to say he won't continue in this direction this season. Almost the opposite, every analyst out there has stated this team is one to watch out for this season. Matt Ryan has improved as a thrower and this will benefit Jones greatly.

    Jacob Tamme
If it was Tamme with any other QB, he would be considered a run of the mill TE. He IS a run of the mill TE but Manning is not a run of the mill QB. What we really are waiting to see is just how healthy Manning stays and how well he has adapted to his new home. If he soars, so will Tamme.

    Demaryius Thomas
Thomas is looking to become Manning's red zone go to guy. This puts his value high. But as with any player that is relying on Manning we want to see how the QB does cause anyone he uses will produce as well.

    Bengals
The Bengals are not a top defense, but it is a young defense. Giving good coaching this D could end up being great. But an eye needs to be kept on there match ups this season because they are still a work in progress.

    Nate Keading
Keading is on a team that could have an explosive offense. His value can be high if there struggles continue like last year. Look for him to have a fair mix of field goals and extra points.

    Bench

    Robert Griffin III
Here is one of the guys that has had a lot of pre-season news. He looks to be a big deal and everything that has been read up and viewed backs that up. Downfall is to be a part of a team where Mike Shanahan has the helm. Sometimes he just cannot go with one horse. Do not expect him to soar out of the box, but do keep a close eye on RGIII cause he may turn into a great 2nd QB.

    Kevin Smith
A Detroit RB. He may have the talent, but the Lions have a bad run with RB's. Best was great but very susceptible to concussions. Smith will get the ball, the only question is if HE can stay healthy.

    Malcolm Floyd
Right now Floyd knows the routine with his QB than the other notable WR on the Chargers. Though at times he can be explosive, Floyd can be a let down a lot. Look for a small stretch of good games as he may be the #1 WR until Meachem can get with the program.

    Peyton Hillis
Hillis had a very bad previous season. Now he has been dealt to the Chiefs for what may turn out to be a fresh breathe of air. He should strive with the Chiefs who likes a two back system. While Jamal Charles may be the #1 back, Hillis will be the TD and red zone guy. Keep a close eye on this running back.

    Russel Wilson
A rookie QB that beat out a somewhat seasoned Matt Flynn for the starting job. The question is how will he do in the heat of regular season ball play. Flynn is still there to take back this job if Wilson cannot take the heat and makes a misstep.

    Evan Royster
If you have read many of my write ups, it is no big secret how I feel about RB's or QB's in Washington. Royster is listed as #1, but we all know that Big Mike has no problems rotating his RB's in and out of games the will make a team owner to stay on his toes as to not be left holding an non producing RB slot.

    Coby Fleener
He knows his QB as they are both alumni of Stanford. Beyond that, he is a rookie that maybe a good filler until we know how he will produce.

    Brain Quick
Another rookie that will be something to look at....in a season or two.

    Ricky Schmitt
A player that is not signed. Should be dropped at earliest possible time.

    Shaun Suisham
A mediocre kicker. Not much else to be said.

Overall, PHW has a solid team that still has a lot of questions in some positions as well as some potential. He could come out ahead or end up with some players that will leave this team open to be taken advantage of.

    Score
    QB_-_A_-_3 strong QB's
RB_-_B_-_1 Strong RB with a n 2nd that has great potential, add in a couple question marks
    WR_-_A_-_A very strong receiver corps.
TE_-_C_-_A lot of potential that can go either way
Def_-_B_-_Only graded because they are young and have a ton of potential

    Voodoo Children (Nikvoodoo).

    [SIZE=4Matthew Stafford

He has Megatron to throw to. This alone give him great potential. Add in that Stafford is an exceptional QB in his own standard. There is very little downside here. They need a good running game to keep it mixed up but we have seen them climb this wall before.

    Joe Flacco
In the off-season, Flacco said he felt like a #1 QB. I applaud his cojones, I will grant him only top 10...and that is in the tenth slot. It is not hard to pick 9 other B's that have more potential to explode than Flacco. That being said, he does have a good receiver corps, and though he should not be your #1 QB he can fill the #2 slot nicely.

    Steven Jackson
A great RB with a run happy coach in Jeff Fisher. A possible better passing game for the Rams should open the field up for Jackson and make him a solid #2 back.

    Benjarvus Green-Ellis
The Law Firm...has never dropped a ball. Never...no fumbles. Now he has moved to a team that can use a RB with little attitude and good hands. You will have to keep an eye on him, but I do not feel he would be a bad pick for a flex position and maybe even a #2 slot on some teams.

    Brandon Lloyd
I am not a Lloyd fan, but he does have Brady throwing to him...and many other players. He will get you points but do not be surprised at any dry spells when he is competing with Hernandez, Gronkowski, Welker.

    Steve Johnson
A solid #2 WR. He has been signed to a 5 year contract and will have a healthy Fitzpatrick throwing to him. Watch for some better Pass D defenses but other than that should fill your 2nd slot quite nicely.

    Jimmy Graham
Considered the 2nd best TE in the game by some, the #1 by others, Graham is a solid TE that will produce almost every week save for bye week. Nothing bad here.

    Antonio Brown
Wallace was a hold out for a long time giving Brown good position to be #1 wide out. Though Wallace is back and has claimed that spot back, Brown should not be counted out as Big Ben will throw to him often.

    Eagles
The Eagles is not a defense that makes you jump up and down when you draft them but should do well holding off everyone but the best teams.

    Sebastian Janikowski
A seasoned kicker that does not miss often. And a team that can give him a fair try at Field goals as well as extra points.

    Bench

    Maurice Jones-Drew
MJD held out long into the pre-season. Do not expect a lot from him out of the box, but once he gets the kinks out, he should be considered a starting RB at all times.

    C.J. Spiller
Spiller is a solid back up RB. He may even fall into a 2nd slot RB like Tate depending on how the COLOR="#FFD700"]Bills[/COLOR] decide to use him. Keep an eye on Fred Jackson’s health because Spiller will be a must play if he is out.

    Anquan Boldin
Its sad to see the decline of a great wide out, but that is what we have here. Use him if you have no other options or he proves us wrong.

    Matt Cassel
Cassel has not developed as well as we have hoped, but to be fair he has what looks to be a new running game to take some heat off of him as well as a new TE that could do him well. Watch for good match ups though they may be far and few to find.

    Reuben Randle
A rookie that may explode. We will have to see.

    Pierre Thomas
A good flex pick. Nothing explosive here, but Thomas can put up some consistent, if low, points.

    Ryan Tannehill
If you need a QB, well he is that. Unproven he is as well. Also Garrard had the starter spot until he got hurt. So we will see how this Rook does.

    Jermaine Gresham
    Dropped

    Billy Cundiff
    Dropped

    Cardinals
    Dropped (good move)

QB_-_B_-_1 for sure QB, Another that is a decent #2, and one we have to wait an see.
RB_-_B+_-_ a lot of potential. 2 great RB's, just have to see how long it takes MJD to get into the scheme of things.
WR_-_B_-_A strong corps that has a lot of question marks next to them.
TE_-_A minus_-_Graham says it all. The minus is for the lack of a back up.
Def_-_C-_I am not a believer in this defense.

Overall, this team has a lot of potential. It can go either way. Will be interested to see what Voodoo does to fill in the blanks as the season kicks off.

    Winter Nom Noms (Mrscott101)

    Tony Romo
There are a lot of nay sayers to Tony Ohno. But lets look how he did last season with broken ribs AND a punctured lung. 31 TD's and a 102.5 passer rating. That is nothing to snuff at. That being said, we would like to see some post season work from him. Beyond that a solid #1 starter on any team.

    Andy Dalton
He had a good partial rookie season. Now with a full season to start off with, there is no reason not to start this QB as a #2. He has shown great potential and can only get better.

    Adrian Peterson
I would caution starting Peterson out of the box due to his off-season problems as well as his knee injury last year. He will be someone you want to hold onto for down the road. Keep an eye on him and make the call to put him in when it feels right.

    Toby Gerhart
For now, Gerhart is the #1 RB in Vikings land. Until Peterson is 100%, there will be no reason not to keep starting this RB until you see the change working Peterson in and Gerhart out.

    A.J. Green
Green does not have as much help in the backfield as we would like to see, but Dalton has proved to make him the #1 catcher. You should have no reservations from starting this wide out.

    Victor Cruz
Another strong and proven WR. With Manningham gone to the 49ers, Cruz is now the #2 wide out for the Giants and in truth can out perform Nicks on many days. Another strong starter for sure.

    Brandon Pettigrew
The #3 back for receptions in the league last year, do not hesitate to keep this TE in. Not knowing how the Lions running game will be and that Megatron will have a lot of coverage, there will be no shortage of passes to this well seasoned TE.

    Percy Harvin
Consider Harvin the top WR for the Vikings. A strong player that should have a starting position often.

    Falcons
The Falcons have a very strong secondary. They will be a team to give a wide berth if you have a week QB.

    Alex Henry
He should have a lot of field goal work depending on how well this offense goes. If it goes as planned he will be an extra point guy, but as last season proved, that may not be so.

    Bench

    Ryan Matthews
Matthews may have some competition for the #1 spot as RB. Ronnie Brown has gotten Norv Turners backing. Add in that Matthews is a no go week 1, we will be interested in seeing what may happen. Brown may not steal the #1 slot, but he will give Matthews something to work for. Matthews is coming off a broken clavicle. Keep an eye on his play in case he may need to remain benched.

    Jermicheal Finley
Finley can be explosive but has had butter finger moments. He has the potential in that Aaron Rogers is his QB and Donald Driver is not getting any younger. Keep an eye n his play as you may have to replace him. Keep your fingers crossed.

    Jerome Simpson
A new add on to the Vikings and has a lot of potential to supplement Harvin greatly...beginning in week 4. A 3 game suspension is what you have to deal with. If you have the bench space, keep an eye on this buck. Hopefully his off field antics won't interfere with his on field game play after suspension.

    Mark Ingram
I am wondering if Turf Toe will be the bain of this RB sophomore season. He has a ton of potential, and should see the ball if he can stay on the field. A wait an see player in my honest opinion.

    Titus Young
He will be playing 2nd fiddle to Calvin Johnson, but because of that could see a lot of work if Megatron gets the coverage we expect him to have. Keep a close eye on this WR's performance and consistency.

    Daniel Thomas
Miami had a lot of hope for this RB but he is looking like an empty hope.

    Christian Ponder
Not a #1 starter, maybe not even a #2, but he has enough potential to keep and hold for a bye week filler or even if you have a weak QB corps.

    Chiefs
A mid range defense last season that didn’t have many changes in the off season. Keep an eye on match-ups.

    Adam Vinatieri
A lot of potential here. Not sure how many times Andrew Luck will get them into the end zone, giving Vinatieri possibly a lot of field goal work.

    Kevin Kolb
Kolb lost his starting QB slot John Skelton. So far he could be considered a bust, but lets see how Skelton fairs. He may have his job back yet.

QB_-_A minus_-_Has some strong QB's with potential. Could go either way. Romo keeps in the A range.
RB_-_B minus_-_Some strong RB's but maybe some more mix and questions on health.
WR_-_A+_-_A strong corps that may carry this team.
    TE_-_A_-_Strong TE's with depth.
Def_-_A_-_A strong defense with a fair back up.

I love the receiver corps here. It may be what carries this team. The QB's have a lot of potential with 1 for sure go to with Romo. Dalton should be a fine #2. The TE's will help this team as well. I wish for a stronger RB section but that could happen with these players mid season.

    Get To Da Choppa! (Joosbawx)

    Drew Brees
There is the coaching handicap as well as the pre season drama for the Saints. But is there any doubt that Brees will seize the reins and keep this team in line and on the straight line. Of course not. A for sure starter.

    Cam Newton
Do not expect the explosive runs as he had last season as his coaches will be trying to get him to preserve his body and spread the ball around. But a must starter as he still has all that potential to explode.

    DeMarco Murray
The #1 RB in Dallas at the moment. Felix Jones is coming off an injury and was surpassed last season when Murray filled in when he was injured then as well. A must start until proven otherwise.

    Trent Richardson
The for sure starter for the Browns. If his knee does not give him any problems, you should not hesitate in using the RB in a flex position, maybe even in the #2 RB slot.

    Jordy Nelson
He had a great previous season. With Rodgers throwing to him, what says this will stop. Nothing. A must play.

    Eric Decker
With Manning as the arm that throws to Decker this season, he is a must have. Though there is the college of thought to keep him benched until you know how Manning will work out. Not me, I say play him.

    Aaron Hernandez
Do not be surprised if The Gronk gets more plays than Hernandez after his spectacular season last year. But Hernandez is an important part of the Patriots system, and do not forget he did not do too bad as well.

    Doug Martin
He beat out Blount for the starter spot. Freeman should have more freedom in the pass with Vincent Jackson in the wings. So this should open up the running game. Keep a close eye as Martin is a rookie and Blount is there to take his place if he should slip up.

    Giants
A mid range defense. Keep an eye on match ups. This may be a champion team, but the defense could bite ya in the ass.

    Matt Bryant
A kicker that may get stuck with a lot of point after kicks. Will be solid in that department but will not have many explosive days.

    Bench

    Philip Rivers
Last season was his toughest. This season is not looking too good at the moment. He lost 2 veterans. Has some new players and injuries already to deal with. Keep an eye on Rivers he may bounce back but with little help from his team.

    Kenny Britt
He was an explosion last season. Right until he got injured. So now we wait, and we wonder, will he explode again. Once his suspension is done that is.

    Isaac Redman
If Mendenhall is unable to produce, Redman will be in. The kicker is, he isn't a groundbreaking RB. At least he has not showed us that he is. I have a hunch we will find out for sure this season.

    Reggie Wayne
One of the last remaining veterans in Indy. Luck is going to make a lot of use of Wayne. I do not know if it will be an explosive season but am pretty sure it will be one to keep an eye on and to see if he will be more than just a bye week fill in.

    Justin Blackmon
He may be of Fantasy Value. A very low one. He has the worst QB in the league throwing to him. Maybe should not even be on a roster unless you see potential I do not.

    Tim Tebow
Tebow time may be over, but do not expect him to fade into the shadows. He has moved to a team that has a big question mark over there starting QB. Sanchez just may be the bust we all know he is. Tebow may not get a lot of work in the beginning of the season, but do nor be surprised if you see him here and there.

    Rashad Jennings
A good starter until we see MJD get into the swing of things. Week 1 for sure, 2 and 3 possible.

    Kyle Rudolph
Nothing explosive here. Maybe some steady points in the under 5 range. Maybe.

    Jason Hanson
Another kicker that will see a lot of point after attempts. I would also like to add I see no point to having 2 kickers on a roster. A kicker is a kicker just like a horse is a horse of course.

    Rams
They were one of the worst defenses last season. Not the worst but is there any hint that will change. Nope.

    QB_-_A_-_The starters are solid
RB_-_B_-_A lot of potential, but only one true horse you can count on.
WR_-_B_-_A lot of questions here with some strong Vets that keep you out of the C range.
TE_-_A_-_A strong position with your starter
Def_-_C_-_Not a lot of hope here.

I honestly really like the starting QB's as well as 1 of the back-ups even with a question mark. There is a lot of potential in the RB cadre, but that can swing either way in truth. The story is the same with the WR's and TE's. A lot of room for work.

    CatsHate Hitler (Mem)

    Carson Palmer
As a QB I like Palmer. I think he can be one of the better ones out there, with the potential to be a must start. But he needs his wide out cadre to step up and give him a target to throw to. Until then, a #2 QB at best.

    Sam Bradford
A good fill in QB. A #3 at best. There are just too many questions that surround him at the beginning of the season. Again, he may have potential, but we need to see his team to step up for him.

    Ray Rice
There is a lot of worry on how much of the workload Rice has carried over the previous seasons. The Ravens made some moves to relieve some of the workload but in truth he will still be there horse and a must start for any fantasy team.

    Ahmad Bradshaw
Bradshaw is the starter. He has some rookie help. Beyond that, keep an eye on his performance considering the Giants have become a heavy throwing team.

    Calvin Johnson
His nick name is Megatron. The 1st 4 games last season he had 2 TD's per game if I remember correctly. He is not a force to be taken lightly. He will be double teamed, but he will still produce. A must start.

    Hakeem Nicks
With Manningham out, Nicks still resides as Eli's #1 target. Victor Cruz will get a lot of work but as long as Nicks is healthy, he will be the go to wide out.

    Rob Gronkowski
The Gronk or as I like to say, the man with no neck. Never mind his shirtless dance moves in the event of a loss, he is one of the most dangerous TE's in the game right now.

    Dez Bryant
He has some off field problems. Beyond that, if he applied himself, he would probably be Dallas' #1 wide out. Right now he is a very talented #2 and there is no reason not to start him.

    Seahawks
Last season, the Seahawks were not too shabby of a defense. They proved not to be overlooked as they stopped some teams that were considered sure wins. They have all the tools to do the same this season as well.

    Mason Crosby
A Green Bay kicker is a point after kicker. Not a lot of work here unless the Packers run up games like they did last season.

    Bench

    Stevan Ridley
I have never been a fan of the Patriots running game. They squander decent resources just to keep the game mixed up enough to keep teams from covering pass defense only.

    Miles Austin
As long as his hamstring does not hold him back Austin should be considered a must start.

    Beanie Wells
With an unsure passing game and fresh from knee surgery, Wells should be looked at very closely before he is played at any point this season.

    Pierre Garcon
Another tool for RGIII. He is a for sure as the Redskins #2 back and if this rookie lives up to the hype, Garcon may end up as a must start.

    Donald Brown
Another big question in Indy. He will have to step up as the #1 RB there and Luck will need him to keep the game mixed up. A must wait and see player.

    Garrett Hartley
A kicker on a high TD scoring team will give you points but not as many as a kicker on a team that cannot quite make the end zone.

    Packers
A top 10 Def. Good to switch out depending on match-ups.

    Greg Olsen
Olsen is the #1 TE for the Panthers. He has a lot of potential and you may not want to let him waste away on the bench.

    Rex Grossman
Maybe if RGIII doesn’t work out this will be someone to look at. Not likely, but a distant dark maybe.

    Matt Hasselback
He lost the starter spot. Lets see if the rookie keeps it or if Hasselback gets another shot.

QB_-_C_-_Not a very strong QB group here.
RB_-_B_-_Rice keeps this from C range.
    WR_-_A+_-_The strength of this team.
TE_-_A_-_I like the TE's we see here
Def_-_A_-_Can the D carry this team?

The QB cadre here is dismal. No real back-ups, and 2 starters that more than likely will have a tough season. The RB's have potential, but again it could be a rough row to hoe. But where Cats lacks in RB and QB he makes up in other strong positions. If the QB's or RB's perform this could be a team to watch out for.
