Also, year and a half... not halve. You're not actively bisecting the past, are you? You're dealing with a passage of time rather than two parts of an object.

As for the linguistic mess-up, it won't happen again. This one, that is - I'll make other ones soon enough though, so be prepared.

I salute you, sir! Typos are the bane of all of written language! If I could, I would rep you for it. Perhaps, just perhaps... the lovely and talented nikvoodoo would find it in his heart to amend that situation.

Let us not dwell in grammar... but talk about a clunker of a sentence structure! There are words missing in the first--though, it may be considered a style choice--and completely fragmented in the second.... When will it all end, sir?
