Holy crap I hate the default avatar... I've been on here long enough to just look at the avatar of the person posting and it has kind of turned into a "face" for me. Now I get all flomuxed when reading through the posts. I see one post after another with the bloody question mark and keep thinking it is the same person posting over and over again.
My vote, make it something embarassing to make people choose a personal avatar make it like a My Little Pony or picture of Robert Pattinson.
