When you can virtually quote games exactly word for word. I can basically do this with Fallout 3.
when you go clothes shopping and check the tag for the stats.
when you see someone face away from you and you crouch to sneak so you can pickpocket them. but arent very sneaky
When you try and pass a barter check to get your shopping cheaper.
when you can setup your control setting without even looking at the screen.
when you look at a building and wonder if it would be good cover from enemy artillery
When your mom pulls open the curtains in the morning to let the sun in and you scream "WTF NO TEAMFLASH!"

Indeed. I do the same fairly often, though I don't know if it is the Army Training, Video Games or thinking about the Zombie Apocalypse.
When you keep your situational awareness up and you consider the possible lanes of infiltration, exfiltration; choke and ambush points; flanks; potential DZ/LZ's; sniper nests and the like.
