As Fredo puts it...Now they're six...Or...
Now they're seven Again...Surprised he survived this long though...Badass INDEED!
Nice to get their backstories. I really like how you get really close to characters here. Jeremy's probably my new favorite, NeXT to Bogart :D
The last bit...I have a feeling that could be Austin...Although...Wouldn't this mean that Ink's sorta already in the jail? Or maybe McKibben just got boofed later...Hmmmm...
Looking forward to next week for sure, I just hope we'll get some Ink soon XD
Good call Mr. Red Beard!! CJ agrees, Simeon remembers a whole lot of details.
I enjoyed their backstory session too. It's like The Breakfast Club: Apocalypse. Now that he has joined the group, and provided new tools and accesses, it looks like the pace will begin to pick up.
One of the most chilling scenes in either Lockdown or A Story of Survival is hearing everyone talk about Mark from Mark's point of view. Even though Simeon couldn't have known what it was like, hearing that underwater perspective was a bit spooky.
Omg, what a nail biter this one was. Love the back story's!
Of course I <3 the geeks being one myself. It sounds like Ink is already in there making bohemoths, and we do know that "Ink" their new celebrity is in there with them somewhere right? All them tats he got.
In episode 3 when Jodi mentions the LDAP server I was like "woah, KC did some research".

Bruhhh!!!!! I used to think that 64k was enough to do almost anything.
This episode's similarities to W.A. A Story of Survival.
While searching the cell phone that was retrieved from Station 5, Jodi mentions finding porn saved on the phone. Simeon eagerly offers to help look through the phone in order to find 'anything' useful. He's not getting anymore help than Saul got from Lizzy after she found with one apartment with a huge porn stash.
As Simeon watches the zombies, searching for patterns, he discovers that they travel in cliques, like way the Tower survivors discover the same after tagging the zombies with trackers in Chapter 7.
Marc was a little damaged as a person, but I liked him a lot for trying always to do the right thing. No so with Gavin. You know he's bright, but for being IT and not a correction officer, he's really out of touch. There are ugly things that want to rip you to pieces and have a little snack. Why the heck would you be concerned by our motley crew of inmates. In comparison to Fredo, the others are like Scoobie Doo. Can't wait to hear how Gavin feels after seeing what we were hearing...and BOOM goes the dynamite.
It's funny how the inmates thought Simeon would be cannon fodder. I'm thinking it might be Fredo next. Who was the guy left in solitary that Mark tried to send someone down for right before they went into Lockdown??? This is going to get muy interesante to say the least. OK I officially am feeling like a Nerd writing this on a Friday night and it's the 13th. Just sayin.
That is Austin McKibben, AKA Arrow Head. (The second Arrow Head. The first was Mom from the Mom & Pop liquor store)
Just how long have they been in there up to this point? I can see Gavin dying of dehydration, but he seems to be acting a bit like drama queen when it comes to hunger. In fact, they all whine a lot. They're practically dying after missing lunch.
KSer Eps 5 is out! Lockdown!!!!!
Four episodes have come and gone. With each passing episode, contact with other fans from around the globe has been waning. I fear the worst. Where is everyone? What tragedy has befallen the world? Nuclear war? Famine? Peak oil? Biological catastrophe? Zombies?
If anyone is still out there, know that there is still HOPE!! And, she's hiding a gun! So it's safe to come out from your hiding. To anyone reading this.
We're Alive!!!!!!
I know right? Hello. Hello. Check, one two, one two. Tap, tap, tap. Is this dang thing on? Doctor I think a prescription is in order.
I can't even post on Episode 3 because I was the last person who posted something and so now I'm determined to post about 4. Hmmmm, isn't it interesting about Jeremy's story. He's very good at being an Indian or an Indian Chief, whatever you need he's willing to step up and do, make decisions, or let the control freaks take charge when they feel the need to exert their power. A great zen type of character. I like Jodi a lot too. KC excels at writing strong female characters. Episode 4 has been great at slowing down the action and giving us character development to get us toward the finish line. Bravo.
But in regards to the episode, I really enjoyed this episode as the permanence of their situation is unfolding for them. They're realizing there is no real rescue for them. It's not just a quarantine that they're riding out. There really is nothing out there for them anymore.
Can you imagine what Jodi could have helped the Tower folks find at the courthouse? Hell, she could have helped the Colony get a better information storage system up.
