Hi there! Privateer is my handle, and I'm a twenty-something from SoCal who works with the government doing boring, boring things. I /used/ to be a mall cop, though, so I had a vested interest in zombie survival! I learned about this podcast after I saw their booth at the San Diego Comic-Con, and, well, I'm just sorry I wasn't listening to it when it began! But, now I'm hooked! Its hard to find modern audio dramas with such superb acting, editing, and special effects!
Hi everyone!!! ill be honest i havnt sifted through this thread yet coz well there are a ton of posts lol. I just thought i should chronicle myself!
my name is the_real_gandy or just Andy i dont realy mind. and well as im sure many of you may have guessed i freakin love We're Alive!
I first discovered the podcast through Gamescoop and Podcast Beyond, in both of which Greg Miller raved about how good We're Alive is.
I eventualy tracked down this very site and downloaded myself the entire first season and half of the second.....i then preceded to smash through all of them in a weekend in time for the new episode on the monday! lol
Who needs sleep right?!?
Anyway enough about me! time to go post on some threads!
Hi there...
My name is Jorge, I'm from Mexico City. 39, married, with a 10 year old girl that also loves horror films and scaring the crap out of her older cousins.
I'm a computer programmer, C#,java,VB (Geeks know what that is).
I heard of "We're Alive" in the Talking Dead (can't remember what episode) and had to check it out. I love it!
I always remember loving zombie films, the first one I remember going to the movies to see was Return of the Living dead, from that point on I fell in love with the genre.
About 10 years ago a friend of mine showed me that I could collect zombie movies, when he lent me Dawn of the dead and then Day of the dead on DVD, from that point on, I started collecting as many zombies as I could, first on DVD and now digital (I can fit more movies in a 3 TB HD, than have dvds laying around). Then on my search for movies I found a free zombie novel "Autumn", when I read it, I got addicted to zombies fiction, so I went on another collecting spree and gathered as much zombie fiction as I could. I recomend the homepageofthedead.com, they have about 900 horror stories, most of them about zombies!
So now I collect anything digital having to do with zombies (games, rpgs, podcasts, movies, series, novels, fictions, images, etc..)
PS: I'm also a big fan of porn.
Hey Privateer, welcome! Government, eh? You know all the secrets, right? Are you really the president? Because that would be just peachy.
You too, Andy! Damn that Greg Miller, and his famous podcast that I've yet to listen to, making this awesome podcast more famous and whatnot, bringing in more listeners. Pfft.
Jorge, you're speaking my code. (Eh? Punny, right?)
It's great to see new text from new sources everyday!
It's spreading...
si (smack) si (smack) si (smack) PEPSI!!!!
Hi all! My name's Hope and yes, I had a bit of a girly moment to find out that I shared a name with a character. I don't often run across people who share my name in life so this was a treat. The zombie genre has always been my favorite out of all things horror. I just happened to be searching in iTunes this past October for something new to listen to while I worked and came across the "We're Alive" podcast. Totally freaking rocked of course! Waaay better than a silly old audiobook. I managed to absorb both seasons in two weeks and then went back for seconds. :) It was torture, I tell you, to have to wait over a month for the third season to begin and now the wait between the new epi's is even worse. I'm listening to the "We're Not Dead" podcasts now to help soothe the "itch". lol I'm hoping that by joining the forum it will help the wait seem a little less long and look forward to discussing the podcasts with everyone.
No need to ask... That's what the internet is for, free exchange of information. <rant>I hate SOPA, RIP Megaupload</rant>
Well, surprisingly, there's not that much!
I'd say that 99.9% is hidden cameras and free amateur uploads taken from cel phones or hand cameras.
I've only found/have 2 "profesional" mexican porn movies, and the rest is just the amateur stuff off the web.
The profesional stuff is a lot like the mainstream american/european porn, but with uglier/fatter women and with a lot less budget.
Bye
