Its not a horror game. I would argue Bioshock 1 wasn't either. Although it had horror aspects the game was more focussed on telling a story than scaring you. Hence no monster closets.
i'm looking forward to Inifinite but I'll wait a while until the price goes down because I'm cheap.
Apparently, I'm a sucker for the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. I got Batman: Arkham City for Father's Day, but I still need to play the original before I jump on that one. Oh, and The Cave is a fun throwback to adventure games like Monkey Island.
I've mostly been playing games that would be considered 'out of cycle'--not a current game--Command and Conquer 3 (and 4), Minecraft and Myst Online.
It's made by Tim Shafer who worked on Monkey Island... and you can tell when you play it.
If you like Monkey Island as much as I do, then (if you haven't) you should try out Maniac Mansion if you can find a copy somewhere. I don't care for the sequel to Maniac Mansion, but I absolutely loved the original.
It seems i already knew the cave but was a bit dispointed that it was not a real point and click adventure, but should try it out. Ohh I played all the lucasarts games, I even played maniac mansion on the good old nintendo 8bit :) but i did love day of the tentacle, on of the best time travel stories ever writen! Back in the days i was obessed by monkey island, Me and a friend even created our own money island games with click and play and the games factory, we had games like lucasarts fighters and tentacle island. Man those where the days.
Okay, finished Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. I bother much with the challenge maps; I find those boring, not adding to the story, and since they don't directly support multiplayer, they won't be my cup of tea.
I did download the final DLC for Borderlands 2 and XBox is having a good sale, so I purchased the Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3 at half off.
Of course, I leave this weekend for Alabama for five weeks and I'm taking the computer room's XBox, so I'll probably be playing Skyrim when I'm not doing training class and college assignments.
Total War Rome 2
Guild Wars 2 eventually. Hope to get to it before the lastest event passes.
Finally beat the main quest in Skyrim, and now I have to work on the Dawnguard DLC... and mop up two achievements from the main game (marriage and the 1000 bounty ones).
But Ducktales comes out today on XBox, and I plan on reliving my childhood with that real soon.
Man, this thread fell to the wayside.... Okay, I'm resurrecting this back up.
I'm playing Battlefield 4 (all the updates are apparently keeping it from crashing now... so far).
Also playing Injustice on the 360 and android (I really suck at fighting games now... I am way past my prime when people would virtually duke it out in the arcades).
Oh, and when I eventually have time from my college course, I bought the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3 so I have to play that as well.
Mass effect 3. I should take another look at that. I played once through and thought the ending sucked. I played through again to try and get a higher ending and that sucked, too. I was so pissed. The games were so good. Playing up to the ending with the squad getting slaughtered and then the slushy controls when sheppard is super wounded and still going was great. Smoking man. Cool. Monty hall door number 1 or 2 or ... Ending choices sucked. It was like the writers said lets do things that do not usually happen in games. But damn, the reason there are not endings like this is they suck.
Dayz Standalone, Hearthstone, FTL, CS:GO, Arma 3.
I wasn't thrilled with the ending(s) either, and after listening to multiple gaming podcasts and youtube stuff, I wonder if EA had a big hand in how the end went down originally. I mean, the first Mass Effect is my favorite. The second one was good, but EA was the publisher, and they have overtly tried in the past to gain as many buyers as possible. That push, to me anyway, is why the sequel was such a departure from the original, gameplay-wise. The 3rd one had lots of moments, but the end did ultimately feel like it was shoehorned.
But I'm told the Citadel DLC is a blast to play and is definitely built for the fans.
you gotta put up pics on that!
I created classic x-men characters on rock band because I saw some interesting outfits available. I should post them on here at some point.
So I DL'ed the Cit, Lev and Omega. Started playing again. Do you know if there is something wrong with the iPhone AP? I want to upgrade the war readiness stuff, to, but it doesn't seem to link. It says I need an Internet connection and I know that is not the problem.
I don't have an iPhone, but I know quite a few who played the Mass Effect app to do what you're talking about. I just did the multiplayer initially for single player readiness, but that aspect was so addictive. But yeah, I know nothing about actually linking the iPhone to the actual game.
They dropped the Ap support and moved it to a web-based function through their own site. N7 HQ Galactic Rediness. This is a better way for me to advance the war readiness. I suck so bad at these hand eye coordination games that I feel bad about co-op, I think I actually hinder the team, lol. I like ME, because of the cinematic play style. I find some of the shooting sections really hard, but I push through. I do not think I could o it on insanity level, though.
I also like Fabel 3 because of the ease of the fighting controls. I know a lot of people think those are cheezy, but I like story and choose your own a lot more than hand-eye coordination games.
So I'm playing flappy bird right now (obviously). While I'm here I thought I might shamelessly plug a kickstarted
Outerlands is a new video game documentary series from area 5 (made of ex 1 up safe responsible for the coop show etc).
They have a brilliant track record including I am streetfughter which you can watch on youtube for free courtesy of Capcom.
Anyway TL : DR Outerlands will be awesome, but they need donations now. So far they're at $140,000 of their $210,000 budget with 8 days remaining.
I'm posting links to their kickstarted page and proof of concept video below.

Currently right now I am cycling through The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, The Walking Dead Season 2 by Tell Tale Games, and The Last of Us/Left Behind.........I have to get my post-apocalyptic fix
So I am back to Battlefield 4. One of the DLC packs had the M60 in it and I love that gun.
But I'm also playing Injustice on the 360 and on android. Definitely a time waster on mobile devices.
My wife surprised me with an Xbox One a couple of weeks back, and it was the Titanfall bundle (returned and reduced at Target, so she got it for 150 less than retail). So, when I'm not on BF4, doing a college course, or messing around on the tablet, I'm on that game.
The only bad thing is that one map, ONE, won't load and it freezes the Xbox One. I can't redownload it because the previous owner downloaded it, so it's not under my ownership. I do plan on calling MS and finding out what I can do, but in the mean time, I'm enjoying the game for what it is.
Destiny on the ps4 and last of us on PS3/ps4
Hello.
That's the game I currently play on my iPhone. I like it a lot, 'cause it is just the right thing for inbetween, as a filler if I have to wait for something, or shit ...
And today a friend pointed me towards the YouTube videos for "Elite Dangerous" ... Man, what a game ... I hope to find a huge bundle of bucks in order to afford me a new computer, the proper hardware and the game as soon as it is availableon the market (currently it is in Beta) ...

I am really looking forward to the post christmas price drop of alien: isolation, and then pick it up for around 30 - 40 bucks.
MtG: 2015 on the 360. Though, I'm still playing Titanfall on the X-Bone. Waiting on the Masterchief Collection to come along.
I decided to fire up Skyrim again a couple weeks ago. I never completed it, so I started a new character and am having a blast.
My previous character was a badd ass (Sneak Archer), so I made a contrasting specialist, I'd previously learned was difficult (for the challenge) as a Sneak Caster. It is fun, regardless.
Right now playing State of Decay on XBox1X Fallout Shelter.
Also playing Rot World R.P.G. survival in a zombie appocolypse thru drive thru rpg based on old C.H.I.L.L. gaming system
Want to talk ? Hit me up.
I playing subway surfers game.
