Hey all, I'm Jay, but most people call me Arkum (Even IRL oddly enough lol). I'm a gamer, podcaster, writer, lover of all things readable. But I get paid to do product design and development.
Even though I just started listening I already don't exactly remember how I found this show. What I do know is I listened to Chapters 1 - 14 straight as I couldn't get enough.

Its called /rant found easiest on iTunes. Its pretty much the Seinfeld of podcast. We talk about games, movies and any other entertainment media. As well as whatever we feel interested in or what effected us during the last week.Quote:

In the real world I do tech writing and marketing for a tech firm. I’d be no use in the Zombie apocalypse, though I can shoot a hand gun fairly well. Maybe I’d be okay. <g> I’m also a fiction writer (mostly unpublished) and I blog about SciFi.

I'm Kory but everyone calls me HardKor. I'm 27 from Southern, IL. I found the podcast on Facebook and just caught up during during chapter 19. And now I'm about to lose it having to wait for new episodes so I guess I'll just have to keep myself busy on the forums.
Hey all out there, I'm Jeff a resident of the big apple. I came across "We're Alive" the zombie podcast through one Greg Miller of IGN /Podcast Beyond Fame. I'm really loving the podcast and the community. So a little more about me I love playing and watching basketball, I love video games, my favorite of the past few years being the Mass Effect series. Right now I'm playing Dragon Age 2 and Marvel vs Capcom , if you play hit up my x-box live gamertag bridgeboy111. So in closing I love the podcast, and you should look forward to hearing from me. WOW - found this podcast on Friday and WOW - love it! I'm Kevin, callsign Saint (holdover from my Air Force days). I've been listening to The Survival Podcast by Jack Spirko for about 2 years - over there the "zombies" are all metaphorical (except for the real ones we're preparing for), but Jack's concepts of general preparedness, level-headedness and understanding your environment brought me into a "prepared" mindset and lead me to do an iTunes search for podcasts on survival. There it was: Alive! These guys are awesome - I loved 28 Days Later, not so much on Resident Evil, then loved The Walking Dead (oh yeah, Shawn of the Dead rocks too) - but this is just right on - all around very impressed with everything from story line to acting, sound effects and real-worl implications of existing in the face of scarcity. I'm up to chapter 14 (listen on my drive to/from work and then while tinkering in the basement...until the wife yells at me). Not so much a gamer or blogger - just a new fan catching up on episodes...and preparing!
Welcome! Tread carefully around the forum if you don't want to have chapters 15-20.1 spoiled! As long as you stay out of Episode discussions, Theories, and Characters you should be fine. Have fun catching up!Quote:
