So I woke from a dead-sleep with my ears literally, on fire....
its whatever Tony, I'm on vacation starting the previous Saturday. If flights work out best for coming in that weekend. So be it.

As my plans work out in my head so far (I'll have to double check), I'll probably arrive the day before the convoy is due to depart. That will give the opportunity to meet you face-to-face, have a day of introductions, drinking and trading stories,chatting and finalising the plans etc.
all good my friend. as me, you, and lit are the primary core of the group a day early would be a good thing anyways. we could venture out to my shop, ill show you how real hoosiers party! lol
That's one place I definetly want to see before we set out. And I will gladly raise a toast to both of you - to you for suggesting the convoy idea, and to Litmaster for his epic planning. Then once we're joined by everyone else, there'll be toasts all round for the common interest that brought us all together.*
*I'm raising a glass to the We're Alive podcast, its creator, cast, crew and all the fans :D
Tony et all traveling to Todd's do you have a timetable yet? I know the event is on Sat in LA but want to know everyone else's flight dates/plans before I start hardcore planning.
So, I've never been camping (save for the 30 minutes my Mother let me 'camp' on my back porch as a kid until I ran into the house terrified because I saw 'glowing eyes' of one of the stray dogs in my neighborhood.) What kind of equipment should I bring?
@doc
just a sleeping bag/pillow item. Travelling(flying) with any additional items would be troublesome. I've got all the other stuff handled
@raven
what additional info are you looking for? Fly to STL on the afternoon of July 15th. plan a flight out of STL the even of the 21st or morning 22nd.
As far as camping stuff is concerned, I'm bringing a sleeping bag, warm socks and a flashlight. The less stuff I carry onto the plane, the simpler my journey will be
don't worry about the flashlight then, pretty sure I have that on lock.
actually that brings up a good point. it might be a good idea to fire out ideas on what all I should have for the camping amenities. im pretty sure I have all the bases covered, but two-ten brains are better than one! everyone fire out ideas, ill start taking notes.
