And please do not include this or a similar scene in TOWA. :D

We don't want any shaw shanking scenes.. :britt:
Yes, it is the same with me. Before we will get TOWA, I will have got into debt for the first time in my life. Building a house is quite expensive these days. However, the good part is that I will be *quite* motivated for probably the next seventeen years or so in order to fulfill my obligations. So, moving and work as well for me, too, plus the additional amortization fun.
But as I will have my private tower sooner than later - I am prepared for z-day. :nik:
Its been a while since I have had much time to get on here. Good to see everyone still hanging around! Just saw the news, and had to take time to pop in. This is great! Cant wait for more WA awesomeness!!
It's not a lurker.

Well, if the first one is a success, hopefully we shall find out.....
And you mean, how did the professor manage to survive to get to the colony years later....
There is so much material and ways to go and side stories that could tie into or go around the main story. I just can not wait to see the direction KC takes this.
Just finished listening to all 4 seasons again...I need more WA....I feel like a drug addict. I'm having withdraws over here..
Hi again, some partial off-topic news: as some of you know, I will start building a house in April (unofficial project title: "Dunbar II"). And I have to procure lots of insurances along the way. Yeay, it is a German thing to have a stockpile of insurances - it tends to make us happy and besides gives us a multitude of reasons to complain about our miserable insurance thralldom.
However, today marked the day I was asked if I would like to sign an insurance against terrorist attacks.Wow. Crazy, hmm? I was tempted - at least for a couple of seconds - to ask for a zombie apocalypse insurance instead. :) Terrorists? Seriously? Hang on, Mr Extremist, please do not do anything stupid, I have to talk to my insurance agent first.
Fun fact two: my building construction site manager sounds like Burt, I guess that is a bonus.
Hi.
@YABC: Something tells me that your new home will be one of those least likely to be hit by terrorists. It is more likely that WWIII will strike your place - or a Zombocalypse. What was the insurance-salesman's response to your question about a Z-insurance?!?
@all:
Today Kc has sacrificed some of his privacy and top-secret-agenda by posting this on the Book of many Faces - thumbs up for these news:

Best wishes!

It's TFWA... I was a little out of it by the end of that marathon writing session. Total page count for Lockdown is at: 281 pages... which will make it about 5 hours. As I head to SXSW this week it'll also give me a chance to get to the 2nd and maybe 3rd draft.
Kc, please stop pushing the scope of the story any further as I will not be able to listen to it in one session on my high-end Apple watch.

Kc, please do not be that cruel.
I would imagine he would do it like previous. That it will probably be one season broken up like before. It would give me something to look forward to again about Mondays..
Me, too - kind of. 5 hours of audio-drama - or how long the final cut will be. I don't see it coming in one huge piece, but instead in a series of small ones. But I am not certain, if Kc's gonna split it into 20-minute-episodes like he used to with WA. Time will tell, and Kc will make it available the way he sees fit. And that's gonna be awesome - the one way or the other.
Cheers!
Liam
So, the big question - in my opinion, is whether the "good" guys (those who we what to survive) will be the guards, those who were wrongfully convicted or those reckless felons? It is likely to be a mix, is it not?
As Kc stated that he does not want to rely on too many clichés, I hope to get some mustache-wearing, slightly obese jail guards...

Five hours? WOOT?!?! It's gonna be awesome!
I ought to give the series a relisten soon, maybe see if I can get more of my friends hooked. ``
Whether you split it up or not, we'll forever be your loyal rainbow fans!
I'm breaking some rules here, and trying new things in the format, so don't be too surprised if you see it either A, all as one piece, or B, three long chunks.
Breaking something like this into 20 minute chunks becomes more of a burden and hinderance than an opportunity. This story is a bit more intimate in the pacing and setup and gives the story a bit more time to breathe rather than have everything fast paced.
I'm still working out the details of how it'll be released, but like always story comes first. The one thing you need to be aware of is, it will be different than what you've come to expect from WA.
Looking forward to it ! Give us a yell if you need help besides gettin the word out.
It's a guideline to protect yourself/family/friends/whatever you want safe in the instance of nuclear fallout. A good plan is to do this for every door/window/whatever-that-isn't-airtight in the house and go hide in the bunker in your basement for up to around 50 years. Have fun!
I like the Idea of 3 Chunks..
