Babble-on used to be one of my favorite shows. I don't know what happened. I think their humor can only be taken in doses. Now I just use it like an ex girlfriend at 2am on a Saturday night. Just filler till I can get the good stuff.
Oh, I forgot one.
Tell 'em Steve Dave. It's good but you might have to listen to the older shows to get the current jokes.
AH! i just remembered Orange Lounge Radio- another video games podcast, I've been listening to since 2006.
LOL. Nope. We all have different tastes. It's just hard to find quality podcasts. A lot of people like Paul F. Thompkast, but I really couldn't get into it. just like Comedy Death Ray, but I digress. I added about 10 new podcasts yesterday to my list to see whether I like them or not and we will see.
Whelp, let's update my list again. Here we go:
- All Songs Considered - Features a variety of independent songs. Generally speaking, most songs are in a "NPR safe" genre. Which means if you like rock or hardcore rap, you won't find it here.
- Coffee Break Spanish - I decided to reestablish what I learned in high school by actually taking some time during my drive to learn Spanish. I know there are other languages as well. Easy to understand and goes an easy pace.
- Common Sense With Dan Carlin - A dialogue about (generally) the state that America is in, without getting into any partisanship. Generally a great listen, even if it does err on the side of dystopia.
- The /Filmcast - A good consistent film review podcast that doesn't feel like two guys got together on their couch to record. (There are way too many of those in film review podcasts).
- Game Scoop - This podcast features Greg Miller and is a take on everything current video games
- The GameSpy Debriefings - A very funny podcast regarding video games. It is everything Rooster Teeth's Drunk Tank wishes it could be.
- Grammar Girl - Awesome podcast regarding language for writing and its proper use. One of the only podcasts that I know that includes the transcript in the file description. (Which means you can read along on your iPod)
- Having Sex, with Katy Morgan - Actually, my only podcast from the SModcast network. It's another sex advice podcast, but the banter between Katy and Kevin is really what separates this from many of the other from the same vein. That, and Katy was a porn star.
- Judge John Hodgman - Presented in the same manner as your afternoon Judge show on TV, but addresses much more trivial conflicts. Judge John Hodgman has two guests on who cannot resolve an argument, and he mediates the decision for them. Some examples include whether it is ok to have a cab driver take you through a drive through on the way home, and the morality of potluck.
- Story of the Day - Small news featurettes about news items. Good for staying up on what's happening around the world.
Just Got into:
The GameSpy Debriefings- fu*king hilarious
Jim and Eddie Talk Shit- only because Jim Jeffries is one of my favorite Comedians
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-RJe...eature=related
I love SYSK and Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
Dan Carlin had an epic podcast drop today a 5.5 hour hodcast that is part 6 of 6 in the fall of the Roman Republic
Cracks in the Armour by Amanda Mack. SPECTACULAR voice acting set between MGS 2 and MGS 4
Thank you smalls kenobi for the recommendation about Jim and Eddie
Here's my quick list of all the podcast I listen to in a week.
We're Alive, We're Not Dead, The Freakin' Awesome Podcast, The Overtime, EVERY SModcast Network Podcast, /Filmcast, Giant Bombcast, Screened, A Fistful of Popcorn, Gamespy Debriefings, IGN's Game Scoop, IGN's Nintendo Voice Chat, IGN's Girl Fight, The Geekbox, WTF, RadioLab, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, This American Life, The Nerdist Podcast, Fresh Air, and Bungie's Podcast.

http://www.zombiepodcast.com/forum/s...r-Audio-Dramas
Some good suggestions.
A guilty pleasure of mine is a podcast called weird things. Three dudes talking about science and critical thinking with a slight bend on the paranormal...but basically think of three of us podcasting about crazy shit in the world...and that's it...love it
I listen to ALOT of podcasts every week and finally got a good lot that I've been regulary listening to for years now and would highly recommend.
Spill.com (You have to go to this site, it's primarily a movie review site but its also branching out into gaming. It's hilarious!)
4PlayerPodcast(It's a gaming podcast where best friends talk about gaming and also they stream every night, games that they are playing.)
The Comic Conspiracy (It's a great podcast about comics where the guys from comics conspiracy talk about new releases in comics.)
We're alive (Ofcourse)
The Nerdist (Nerdy comedians, interviewing famous people in LA, they actually just aired their first tv show version of the podcast on BBCAmerica)
Knockin Boots (IGN staff discussing sex with listeners asking for advice while they are getting drunk)
The gamespy Debriefings/ Now The Comedy Button (This is one of the funniest podcasts I've ever listened to. It's supposed to about gaming but ends up going down random tangents. The show is on a break but coming back as the Comedy button soon)
