Big Doings on May 4

I know we're all focused on whatever's going to happen May 6, but don't forget that there are also big things coming on Saturday May 4.

First, it's Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You).

Second, it's Free Comic Book Day! This is a once-a-year event during which publishers print up special editions of some of their most popular comic book lines and give them away free to anyone who shows up at their local comic book store. Thanks for the reminder, CP! I always forget about Free Comic Book Day....

Yeah, I plan on taking the kids early to one of the few comic book stores here because we went in the afternoon last year, and they didn't have anything left.

Totally misread the title of this thread. Didn't see that second letter 'i'. :squint:

My LCS went the way of the Dodo. :( Now I've got to head to Vancouver to get my books. FML.
