Northern Illinois Runs

Hello everyone, I've signed up for two races in the northern part of Illinois. One is a mud run and one is a normal race. I have also 3 more I'm planning for. If anyone else is in the IL & IN area feel free to join me! Here are the list of runs I'm doing, and signing up for.

Spartan Race(8-9miles +obstacles)

dude, it's been a long weekend: i log on, look at this thread title and see northern illinois ruins. i look at it and i think "what is this? apocalypse runs or something?" i'm tired.

I've seen the Spartan Race stuff advertised before but the Hell Run and the Run for your Lives 5Ks look pretty awesome....

Thank you! It'll be a fun time. The Run for your Lives is badass, I did one last year and had a blast. Hell Run is an easier version of the Spartan races. Still fun though!

I'm using a pretty cool app to help me prepare for the running season. It is call Zombies, Run!. It is a game of running to collect supplies for your base that you can build up. And as you run it tells a story. At certain parts of your run, you start to hear zombies and you have to run faster for at least a minute or you lose supplies. Pretty interesting!
