Next Global Crisis

So, while searching for something college related, I came across this website/series. It is supposed to be a web series with a comic book thrown in. It looks like there's quite a bit of money to drop on this if you want to get into it. (I saw episode one going for 14 bucks and something about training room episodes going for 13.) Voice acting doesn't sound up to the price, but it looks interesting.

Anyone else heard of this series (www.nextglobalcrisis.com) and have thoughts? I'm trying to figue out what I have stumbled upon.
