his brand of comedy is lost
Utterly devastated when I heard this news this morning. A comedy giant and a big part of many of our childhoods. He was a genius!
Wow, I can't believe it.....
I was hoping it was another hoax about his death until I saw it on Fox news last night. There will never be another like him. He was one of a kind.
My wife and I watched Live on Broadway last night. Like a lot of brilliant people he just succumbed to his demons. I think a lot of people forget how often he was in and out of rehab and the struggle he had with addictions. I loved hearing about the story from Norm MacDonald about how Robin came in to "dress him" for his first Tonight Show appearance, the endless quotes and bits, gags and pranks...he was truly one of a kind.
A great actor indeed.

This is a direct quote from a vendor (SFX company) at work via Email:
All misspellings and horrific capitalization grammar comes directly from them. So uh... that's awesome guys. I've been plotting how I would express my extreme displeasure of this "sales strategy" all morning but I haven't quite nailed down my utter disgust yet.Quote:
RIP Robin William- You brought us the greatest effect of all- Laughter. Here at *redacted because they're f'ing stupid* we have treasured our many years of working with Robin in his Various movies.
